Hi, I moved into my Cala home in December 2021 and have faced ongoing issues. While minor complaints were addressed initially, significant problems have arisen after 2 years when warranty ends.Property location: BeatriceMeadows Kirkintilloch For example, I've had to deal with boiler issues and faulty rainwater drainage, resulting in leaks and water damage. Recently burst pipe under sink (main water supply) and entire ground floor is full water. Despite these problems, Cala has not provided satisfactory solutions.Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Cala homes to others. The quality of their builds has been disappointing, and I've been extremely frustrated with their customer service.

I had some remedial work carried out by Tomasz, one of your operatives. Tomasz’s work is of an exceptional high standard and quality of finish for any task. He left the house after the work like no work had been carried out at all. It’s a shame the contractors who originally built the property didn’t have the very high standards of finish, quality and care that Tomasz quite clearly has.

Katie was not only exceptionally informative but also demonstrated a genuine passion for the project as she guided us through the various properties on offer. Her in-depth local knowledge, combined with her insight into future phases of the development, provided a real sense of confidence and trust in the long-term vision of the site. What stood out most was Katie's professionalism and expertise, which shone through at every stage of the visit. Her ability to answer all of our questions with clarity and precision was impressive, and she showed a real understanding of the unique aspects of each property, tailoring her approach to what would best suit our needs. There was no hard sell, which was incredibly reassuring. Instead, Katie focused on creating a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere, ensuring that we felt comfortable throughout the entire process. This personalised approach made it clear that she truly cared about finding the right fit for us, rather than simply pushing a sale. I would highly recommend both Katie and the New Monks Place development to anyone considering a property in the area. Her professionalism, warmth, and expertise are exactly what you would hope for when making such an important decision, and the development itself is clearly being handled with the highest standards. Unbelievable service from Lee & Lydia - phoned up to report a few defects to Lydia in customer service, having been in the property for 18 months now, and literally within less than 5 minutes Lee was at the door to solve them. He came in to do one job in the kitchen, and also solved an issue we’ve been having with the front door that several carpenters have failed to fix. Not to mention he’s a really nice guy! Incredible service!

This review is for Chloë Boss, the most amazing sales professional we have ever dealt with.We worked with Chloë over a few months and from the moment we started working with her, we felt at ease. She helped us pre-reservation, throughout our reservation, during exchange and completion, and with after-care since moving in. Chloë constantly delivers a five star service and is an asset to Cala.On the Langley Court development in Beckenham, she is so well reputed by all residents. Residents mention her name all the time and say what a dream it was to work with her. Some of the other sales professionals have a bad reputation but everybody has just positive feedback about Chloë.We will miss Chloë now that she’s gone to the Tonbridge development but we would hunt her down if ever we were to buy another Cala property! I met George today when he came to go over my snagging , I had just been through a dramatic experience with a older man four days prior, on the day George came , I had just bumped into this man on a walk with my dog and was very shaken , I had forgotten that a painter was booked in and when I opened the door to George I just burst out crying , George was amazing, making sure he didn’t enter my house until I had pulled myself together , he even suggested I rebook when I was feeling up to it , I didn’t want to rebook as I got a feeling that this was going to be a distraction for me , he them came in and started painting however every so often he would check in with me to make sure I was ok , it was so nice being able to talk to a stranger about what I have been going through , he did a amazing job with my downstairs area , however he confirmed he would require another college to help him do the rest of the floors due to my house being a Town House, when George left I called Cala and spoke to the lovely Vicky , I explained what George had said about requiring another college to complete the work , I asked Vicky if George could come back with another college as he made me feel so comfortable in my own house , as the incident that occurred prior had occurred in my house , George is due back next week with his colleague to complete the other two floors and I will have no hesitation on opening my door, Thanks George for making my experience of a stranger in my house so much easier than I ever imagined,.what a true Gentleman.

I would like to personally thank Jenny from Woodend Green Houston for all her help and advice during our house buying process. Jenny always went above and beyond to answer all our questions and make us feel welcome at the sales office. She is a true brand ambassador as such I would like to acknowledge all her hard work and dedication to ensuring we had a stress free house buying process. Nothing was ever an effort for Jenny as she always went above and beyond to answer all our questions and ensure we had no issues; often she would contact us on her days off or work stay passed her time to ensure all our questions were answered and that we were happy customers. Jenny was always extremely welcoming at the site and was especially kind to my daughter (age 5) by buying her little gifts if she knew she was coming to visit. Those gestures meant a lot to my little girl and just showed us the kindness and effort Jenny would go to make us happy. Jenny is a true Cala ambassador and an absolute valued member of staff who continuously displayed excellent customer service through our buying process. Spoke to a wonderful Sales Rep during the week about acquiring a home on a development our family have fallen in love with. She was so helpful and lovely. I was excited to start my first home journey. Even when I said it would more than like be shared ownership. She was just happy for me! HOWEVER, I rang today and got someone else. I mentioned I had spoken to a rep and had some further questions. As soon as i mentioned shared ownership she could not get me off the phone quick enough! Kept trying to say bye. And had no interest what so ever in anything I would like to ask about the area or specifications on the home provided by Cala instead of S/O. She just didn't care.Wouldn’t recommend their service! If its like that now, what will the aftercare be like!
