GoogleWhat an amazing and different estate agency this is. From the minute I walked into my potential new home for the viewing, I could tell I was in professional hands.
I was slightly late if I remember due to traffic yet at no point did I feel rushed.
Immediately fell in love with the house then I have to say from that point on until I collected the keys, I have never come across such a switched on and proactive estate agent. It took me a wee bit getting used to the approach at first but it was in everyone's best interests.
I dealt mainly with Sam and met Fiona as well on key collection day who both made it extremely special for me. During the transaction though it was Sam I dealt with and she was on it throughout - really business like yet friendly, super organised and always positive trying to see what progress is being made up and down the chain.
An all round excellent experience and both Bridges and Sam went above and beyond for me. Thank you so much again🙂

GoogleOn the first visit it to the main office in Livingston it was very welcoming with a nice cappuccino and biscuit, I met both Tyler and James and I was very well received by both of them, both very down to earth and easy to get on with.
My overall experience with Bridges was excellent, I was well informed at all times of the day through a personal WhatsApp group chat and when I was stuck with something or just needed some reassurance’s either James or Tyler was there to assist.
All avenues were covered from mortgage provider, solicitor, home insurance and life insurance that would have taken myself time out of my working life that I didn’t have so I was extremely pleased that this was all taken care of for me.
I very much appreciate all the work and effort both James and Tyler have put in to getting me my first property and I would highly recommend Bridges to anyone looking to buy their own property.

From the day he walked into my home, Andy told me that Bridges could sell my property easily, found me a buyer who wasn’t serious about the purchase to begin with and offered £40k below the asking price! They informed my buyer that I was downsizing so that gave him the upper hand to try to push me on price. They denied telling my buyer this but I had this on my ring doorbell where they clearly explained there would be room to negotiate and they should try to do so. Forced me to keep dropping my price to fit the needs of the buyer who clearly couldn’t afford my house in the first instance. 4 months into this process there were now 6 houses in the chain. I wanted to open my house to other viewings as we still hadn’t exchanged and the house at the bottom got fed up and left the chain leaving me open to re-market and nobody informed me of this except an estate agent further down the chain. Andy point blank refused to listen to me to open it up to other viewings and offers. The entire time he sided with the buyer rather than my best interests. He dragged the process out for 8 months and 1 week before completion my buyers mortgage expired and neither Andy nor Liana had informed me of this as they themselves were clueless as all they had their eye on was the fee they were going to get. I was informed by the agent further down the chain from Hat and Home who was excellent in keeping me informed - that wasn’t her job. Then 8 months later - on the day of exchange my buyer pulled out as he wanted a £17k further drop in price. What a total waste of my time and energy. They have no idea what they’re doing and how this has affected me and my family. I would inform Liana and Andy of what was happening further down the chain myself. They claimed by sending me emails of information which I already had - that was their way of keeping their finger on the pulse. Steer clear from Bridges in Sonning Common they will manipulate you into staying in a chain longer than necessary and give you false hope and find buyers who don’t have the funds as they didn’t do any due diligence to check affordability. Absolutely appalling service I now have to start the entire process all over again and find a new agent whom I can trust to get me out of a mess that Bridges have created. Total cowboys. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
