Highly recommended ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a fantastic experience with Amy and Hayley at Bridges! They provided an amazing service from start to finish and were so helpful and supportive throughout the whole process. They helped us with our first project, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for better people to guide us through it. Both Amy and Hayley were professional, friendly, approachable and always happy to help whenever we had questions. We’re so grateful for all their help and would highly recommend Amy, Hayley and the team at Bridges to anyone looking for a professional and reliable service. I honestly couldn’t recommend Anisa highly enough. From the very first viewing, her communication was absolutely fantastic. We weren’t initially in a position to proceed, but Anisa continued to keep us updated throughout and was always so polite, helpful and understanding. She kept us informed at every stage, answered all of our questions and was always quick to respond. Her communication really stood out, and we always felt like we knew exactly what was happening throughout the process.

A fairly poor experience

We had a fairly poor experience with Bridges, Camberley. After signing up with Bridges with one asking price, we were very quickly (within 3 weeks) pressured to lower our asking price. There were a couple of times where we had a viewing and we came back to find a door still unlocked. Once we agreed an offer on our sale we didn't get any updates from them until we chased them up (around 6 weeks after agreeing our sale and onward purchase). There was no guidance from them on what we needed to do to return keys etc on completion. Albeit we did get an offer on our house within 3 months of putting it on the market. However, overall, our experience was poor.

Steve was extremely personable

Steve was extremely personable, supportive and understanding of the set of needs we faced in both selling one property and purchasing another. He was always quick to respond to questions and went above and beyond to help us. I cannot recommend Bridges highly enough, they are definitely a company I would use in the future. Thank you so much Steve and the rest of the team. You were all always very professional and approachable. You made something that could have been very overwhelming manageable.

Our contact at Bridges was Matt…

Our contact at Bridges was Matt Parsons, who dealt with us in a very professional manner, prior, during and after our viewing of our 18th viewing (not all with Bridges). Matt was very empathetic to our situation, having not been successful in a volume number of viewings prior. He responded effectively and efficiently to all our questions and queries, and gave us great support after. He's a very well mannered conscientious individual, and as I have said, professional at all times. We wish him continued success, in his chosen occupation, he is a credit to his profession, thank you Matt from all of us.

Thanks to Hayley, Petra and the team at Bridges for helping us with our house move. Hayley was exceptional throughout the entire process. Her communication was always clear, prompt, and helpful, and she kept us updated at every stage. Hayley was highly efficient and proactive, making everything run smoothly and taking the stress out of what can often be a complicated process. Her excellent service and attention to detail really stood out, and she was always willing to help with any questions or queries.

From start to finish, Sam Burrows was absolutely brilliant. Her professionalism, dedication, and genuine care made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Sam was always one step ahead, keeping us informed, answering every question with clarity, and going above and beyond to ensure everything ran like clockwork. What really stood out was Sam’s ability to balance efficiency with empathy, she understood the emotional side of renting/letting and made us feel supported every step of the way. Her local knowledge, attention to detail, and proactive communication were second to none. If you're looking for someone who truly puts clients first and delivers exceptional service, Sam Burrows is your go-to. Bridges Estate Agents are lucky to have her, and so were we

We’ve had a truly terrible experience…

We’ve had a truly terrible experience with Bridges, to the point we decided to remove our property from the market as we did not want to move forward working with them. Every concern or complaint that I raised was turned back on myself - they were more than happy to explicitly tell me that everything I was not happy about was my own fault. They refuse to take any responsibility for their mistakes, or for not actually doing their job. They made multiple mistakes with the listing details (floor plan wrong multiple times, property type wrong, not anonymising photographs before posting online) that we had to point out to them to be corrected. Their argument is that they corrected things as soon as we pointed them out, therefore it’s not a problem… Bridges made absolutely no effort to resolve any of the issues that we had. Even worse they tried to gaslight and talk down to me in my own home after they invited themselves in. They also refused to release us from our contract as they “do not believe” they have done anything wrong. This is just a petty way to try to get back at us because they’re not selling the property either way. Now they’re just blocking us from selling with someone else. Since having this experience we have spoken to many friends and family and were surprised that many of them also had negative interactions. AVOID!!!!!

It’s brilliant to hear how Jess, Sakthi and Cody each looked after a different part of letting your property and kept everything moving smoothly from the first viewings right through to the contracts and finances. We’ll make sure all three see your kind words. Thank you for trusting Bridges with your property! Warm regards, Emma from Bridges

Professional service that feels personal

Having used Bridges for letting, and subsequent sale of my property, I would recommend them to anyone. For lettings, they always find a suitable tenant, and the sales side go above and beyond. Having just completed a very awkward sale, I have to say a massive thank you to Matt Bozier and Melanie Williams in particular, without their knowledge and hard work, a difficult sale would have become an impossible one. And there's always someone to speak to if you need them.. A rarity these days! Great work! 👏 👏.

I hate to leave such a negative review but I cannot recommend steering clear of this team strongly enough. Whatever you do - do not sign a 20 week contract! It is unnecessary and unreasonable. We were on the receiving end of of deception, dishonesty and poor service early on in our contract. The senior members of their team admitted it, apologised for it but refused to break contract, even though they were clearly in breach. They knew that they had us between a rock and a hard place - their complaints procedure stated that it could take as long as our remaining contract. We had no option but to ride it out with another one of their branches, with no luck selling our extremely desirable home. The worst part about this was that they knew that we were on a tight timescale to move in time to apply for school places in our new area. To not make that deadline would have a serious impact on our family. They did not care and would not release us from contract. When our time finally ran down, we moved to another agent and, thankfully, sold within a fortnight. These may seem like the big agent in the area, but you don't need them. They are dishonest and inhuman. There is plenty of choice - don't even consider them. [EDIT] In response to your reply, I'm sure you can find me on your system, as my complaint went right from the branch to the central team. I suspect this is just an attempt to make my grievance look less genuine, which continues to highlight the systemic dishonesty within your business.

We have recently sold our house with Bridges and wanted to give 5 stars to Matt Bozier who has been incredible in helping to progress our sale and purchase and move the chain to completion. He has been honest, reliable and incredibly hard working and we would definitely work with him again. He is an asset to bridges and hugely improved our experience of working with them. He has genuinely gone above and beyond in supporting us and really does deserve a lot of recognition for how hard he has worked over the past 10 months. We do believe that our chain would likely have fallen through on several occasions had Matt not worked so tirelessly across the chain to keep things progressing. Thank you Matt!

Please be cautious with bridges!!

Please be cautious with bridges ! We progressed a purchase through Bridges and later discovered discrepancies in the marketed measurements/floorplan. After raising concerns, particulars were amended, but responsibility was denied and no compensation offered despite wasted costs and time. Disappointed with both accuracy of information and complaint handling. Matter has been referred to The Property Ombudsman.

Absolutely appalling experience with…

Absolutely appalling experience with Bridges. After years of using Bridges, buying and selling properties through them and having a longstanding relationship with the company, I am genuinely shocked by how we have been treated. A proposed tenancy fell through. No tenancy agreement was signed, no landlord offer letter was signed and no references were signed. Yet we were presented with an invoice for over £1,200 in “abortive” fees for a tenancy that never happened. What is even more disappointing is the way this has been handled. Despite asking for everything to be dealt with by email, we have continued receiving calls and voicemails chasing payment. The pressure and tone have been completely unacceptable. Apparently, a casual “yeah, perfect” on a phone call is enough for Bridges to consider you committed to thousands of pounds. Make sure you watch what you say, because clearly their interpretation of a conversation can be very different from yours. The biggest disappointment is the complete lack of consideration for a customer who has had a relationship with Bridges for years. The company we thought we knew clearly isn't the company we are dealing with now. £1,200+ demanded for a tenancy that never happened. Disappointing doesn't even begin to cover it. Zero stars would be more appropriate.

SCAMMERS STAY AWAY

Would not give even 1 star but forced to give one star. These guys are so pathetic that one can’t imagine. I rented through them for 2 year but when I get any problem or something, they simply told me to contact landlord directly as they are not managing the property. Later the the end of tenancy, they were not telling me who has got my deposit. They alway told me over the phone that landlord has deposit. When I emailed them for official record, then they replied that they have the deposit. Also they kept asking landlord to increase the rent even when he did not wanted to. In addition, at the end of tenancy, they came for the deductions for wall paint which is fair but when I started renting, first 2 days was without electricity and only thing they did back then was to say to contact landlord. When it’s about taking money, they are at front and when it’s about fixing the stuff or information, they simply says to go to landlords. Last but not least, I had emails telling them with landlord ccd in that please put notice period to 1 month which landlord agreed on email but sent me the extension without notice period. I had all email to prove that it was agreed that notice period was 4 weeks but they was so unprofessional tone to say that I signed the contract no matter what emails said. Landlord was good he was fine with notice as he agreed and aware but these bridges guys were just forcing me not to leave. Pathetic pathetic and Parhetic! STAY AWAY FROM THEM AS A USER THATS ALL I CAN SAY.

Dear Mr Butt, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We genuinely value all comments as they help us improve our services. We regret to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations, and we would like to address your concerns.Firstly, we have tried to reach out to you to explain the lettings process and to clarify the nature of our involvement with the property you rented. As outlined at the beginning of your tenancy, the property was not fully managed by Bridges. Instead, it was a tenant-find and rent collect property, which means our role was to find a suitable tenant for our client and collect your rent. The management of the tenancy, including maintenance and day-to-day issues, was handled directly by the landlord.Regarding your concerns about the deposit handling and communication, we want to assure you that we provided all necessary paperwork at the start of your tenancy. This documentation included details on where your deposit was held and outlined the process for its return. We strive to ensure transparency and clear communication with all our tenants from the outset, we understand that the type of tenancy can be confusing to tenants who do not understand the rental process fully, which is why our team have tried to reach out to explain, while frustrating for you they were out of our control. We would love the opportunity to show you what our fully managed service is like. If you are in a position of looking for a new rental in the future, please reach out and enquire about our fully managed properties that we have available.Kind regards,Bridges.

Buying our first home

Buying our first home with not a lot of knowledge on how the process worked. Once Dan got involved, his communication between us made us feel so much better about situations along the way. He explained everything and always got back to us when we needed the reassurance on the upwards chain complications( nothing to do with Bridges). I am not sure this sale would have went through without him. Also to mention Hayley’s hard work in chasing solicitors and other agents for updates for us. She also took the time to explain everything and give us the reassurances that was needed.

We sold our house with bridges

We sold our house with bridges, and it was a difficult market and took a long time, but eventually it happened. The staff were professional and informative along the way. When the sale happened Hayley Levy the sales progress person took over and took customer service to a new level. During a stressy time with Solicitors, She was the voice of calm and reason and just common sense. Any time we had a question she dealt with it instantly, When she would say "I will ring you back in 5" she did just that. I hope that in future all estate agents employ somebody like Haley in that role Priceless.

Very Happy with Service

We recently sold a property through Bridges of Hook, Hampshire. Although their fees were higher than some other agents, we chose them because they were enthusiastic and seemed to be on the ball. This proved to be the case as the property went under offer soon after listing. Our main contact was with the manager, Rob, who went above and beyond in keeping us informed of progress, visiting the property when we were unable to do so etc. Would happily recommend
