GoogleWe have recently used Ashtons to sell our house and have found them to be extremely professional and helpful. Moving during a pandemic is especially fraught, however Adam and the team at the Stockton Heath branch have always been easy to contact and have helped with all stages of the process. Their knowledge of the local area is second to none and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ashtons to anyone thinking of buying or selling a house.

GoogleAdam has recently dealt with the purchase of a property for my parents who have recently relocated from North Wales to Warrington. Adam was extremely proactive in progressing with our purchase making it as stress free as possible. Adam was very professional and understanding. He understands customer requirements and gives lots of information regarding the back office process so you appreciate the reasons why there maybe holds up. Thank you so much Ashtons. GoogleIf you want an Estate Agent who truly works hard for you and your home sale, then Ashton's Estate Agency is for you. It has been a truly exceptional year with Covid and it's restrictions, but Ashton's have taken great care with me and the property. Distance has made it impossible for me to do practically anything towards selling, Ashton's stepped up to help with every aspect. Always professional and polite and keeping me up to speed with every step. Adam provided support, attended the property on many occasions which was my responsibility, and never failed to keep me bouyant when we had a blip in the chain. A true credit to his company.

GoogleGreat service from start to finish. Staff are all well trained and verz friendly and helpful, one feels welcome. Easy to use website, too, also for Maintenance issues, very short turn around time, they react almost instantly and get things sorted quickly and efficient. Always helpful and responsive. GoogleFalse information given by Louise Walker in regard to delays with local searches which has caused a huge panic throughout the chain I'm involved with. Thank goodness I didn't instruct Ashtons. What a poor show. Please fact check in future and please stop creating unnecessary panic in an already stressful climate.
Thank you for your comments. Having investigated this further, Louise had been informed by a local reputable solicitor that all local authority searches would be delayed until 14th July. With this in mind, Louise updated her clients of the same in order to manage expectations and make a suggestion that they and/or their own solicitor contact the council themselves for further clarity. Louise also checked in with St Albans District Council herself and established that this may have been miss-communicated to the solicitor and upon finding this out, immediately made all parties aware. We apologise if this caused any unnecessary stress but Louise was working in the best interests of all to mitigate what could have been hugely problematic, with the end of the Stamp Duty Holiday looming. We trust this provides clarity on the matter but Louise has offered that she would be very happy to speak to you or any other parties directly on this and can be contacted on 01582 463960.

GoogleThey felt different to start, but by the end I felt they were taking us over the coals for more money without any evidence of changes to the other offers. Have since heard some very rough reviews about them from other buyers.

GoogleJust finished the moving process to Welwyn Garden City (for my mother) and cannot fault the service received by Ashtons and particularly Sam Ward who was excellent. I think our move was relatively straightforward but any slight issues we had were dealt with promptly and professionally. I highly recommend Ashtons.
