We recently sold our home and purchased our new one through Ashtons, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better estate agent. From start to finish, Cathy and her team were professional, knowledgeable, responsive, and incredibly supportive. Their marketing was excellent, they kept us updated throughout, and they were always available to answer questions and offer advice. Our move involved multiple properties in a chain, with several properties also being sold through Ashtons, and the team did an outstanding job of keeping everyone informed and managing communications between all parties. They worked tirelessly behind the scenes, liaising with solicitors, buyers, and sellers to keep things moving and overcome challenges as they arose. What really stood out was how much they genuinely cared. Moving house can be stressful, and there were times when we needed reassurance and support, but Cathy and the team consistently went above and beyond. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and commitment to delivering the best outcome for their clients was evident throughout. We are so grateful for everything they did to help get us over the line and into our new home. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ashtons to anyone looking to buy or sell a property. We purchased a property through Ashtons, Stockton Heath in December 2025. Having dealt with most of the local estate agents on the search for our new home, I can honestly say Ashtons were head and shoulders above the rest. They always answered the phone, always replied promptly to emails and the whole team are fantastic. They were honest and open, nothing covered up and everything explained. Special thanks to Brad who was amazing in supporting us and communicating so brilliantly throughout the process. Other mentions to Cathy and Mollie-super cheerful and lovely to deal with. Overall I couldn’t fault this branch and would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone buying or selling.

In the area of Stockton Heath there are many estate agents to choose from when selling a property. I cannot see any matching Ashtons. The service I received was flawless from start to finish. At valuation Cathy showed enthusiasm to sell my property and highlighted a very clear plan of how to achieve the best sales price for me. There was interest in the property within 24hrs of going live and the property was sold for the full asking price within 9 days of being listed. After acceptance of the offer Ashtons remained in constant communication liaising with me on a regular basis until the completion date. They offered great advice and their experience and knowledge was reassuring during the process. The team are friendly, professional and most importantly communicate extremely well. I can see why they are regarded as the best in the area.

But Brad was across our sale and purchase and every other part of the chain and with his dogged determination he was solely responsible for a successful conclusion, an asset to the team. From start to finish I found Ashtons in Stockton Heath to be professional, efficient and courteous. The purchase of the property was far from straightforward, through no fault of Ashtons, but Luca in particular, and his colleagues were on the ball every step of the way. It's always a good sign when someone says they'll call you back and they do! Luca displayed an excellent grasp of the legalities required when purchasing a property and went well above and beyond his primary responsibilities. He handled all of our queries with courtesy, urgency and with a genuine "human touch" attached to our dealings. I cannot speak highly enough of Luca and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the services that Ashtons provide.

Without his determination we wouldn't have completed when we wanted, he kept both sides moving forward in the face of some terrible, and slow, legal work. We’ve just used Ashton’s in Stockton Heath to sell our house, and they were great. Nick was so enthusiastic from the very first visit and then went on to market the house brilliantly. The photos, copy and 3-d tour were top notch. We had a steady stream of viewings, all handled professionally and at times to suit the potential buyers. The buying process was a bit long and painful due to issues further down the chain but nick was always onto it, chasing solicitors regularly, and all credit to him that it completed when it did. We are really grateful to him for being so pro-active, positive and professional throughout, and for being an overall good egg. We would definitely recommend.

I used to think that it didn’t really matter that much which estate agent sold our house. I’ve changed my mind now! We started with a different agent and weren’t happy so we switched to Ashtons (Great Sankey branch). From the start it was a completely different experience. The photos were professional and made our house stand out on Rightmove. Thank you Kristian. We were instantly inundated with viewings and positive interest. We were given helpful feedback and our agent, Emily was very helpful during the negotiation process. After we had accepted an offer, Emily worked tirelessly to keep the chain going. There were issues of communication and things being done on time lower in the chain and without Emily, I think we would still be waiting to exchange contracts. Emily went beyond her role and made contact with the chain several times a day towards the end, sitting on hold for long periods of time. Throughout the process, Emily remained positive, reassuring and communicated brilliantly to so many different people. Emily always returned our calls and we had no doubt she was working hard on our case. We really felt that she cared and defended our interests. We have no hesitation recommending Ashtons. Very poor service if you are the buyer. I used Ashton’s mortgage adviser, who was amazing, but my experience with the agents responsible for selling at Cultcheth was anything but. It started off ok ish .. Andrew wasn’t happy that I questioned his valuation of the very tired and dated property but fair do’s I thought. Nearing completion I had numerous calls demanding dates .. which my solicitor accommodated but unfortunately they hadn’t checked up the chain and their clients house purchase couldn’t accommodate so I constantly had to mess people around, my buyer, removals firms, utilities etc etc. on the actual completion date we completed at 12. I got a call to say that the keys wouldn’t be available until 3. By this time I had broken the chain to complete my own sale and moved my stuff into storage. So 3pm was ok. I said I’d be there at 5 but was assured they’d be out by 3. I got there at 16:15 to be told no keys were available and I should come back??? I went for a walk and called my solicitor, he was furious. I went back to be told that the keys wouldn’t be available until after the office closed so I should go and wait at the house for them to finish their move. I was told “it’s not really my problem” ... wow! Not a “so sorry, please let me make you a drink” “thanks for using and paying for our mortgage service”. My feedback is remember that the buyers are your future sellers. Treat them better .. think longer term. Your office is all shiny and new but your attitude is dated.

Our chain took 5 months from selling our house to completion on the new one (this Friday!) and Leanne has been with us all the way, chasing up literally everyone, going above and beyond in every way. Tbh, it's been a LONG time since we have moved house, so it was all a bit of a new experience. Ashtons made a pretty stressful time quite a bit easier to cope with. They chased things for us, made viewings at the properties we wanted to see when we wanted them, and then sorted everything out that they could sort out on the house we bought, being the go-between between the solicitors, plus us and the vendors. So yes, Estate Agents often get a bad name, but mainly because this house buying malarkey is so stressful and they are in the middle of it all - but the reality for us was that Ashtons Stockton Heath (Brad & the rest of the team) actually made it easier to cope with. So, thanks again!
