This estate agent is terrible as they don't know how to fix issues and if you fail to keep up with the rent for any reason they are straight on to you. They send you fake paperwork when you get too far behind on the rent, basically they want your money and refuse to do any repairs to your property.

I stayed in the apartment for more than a year and to be honest, I wouldn't recommend this apartment to anyone especially the flat I stayed in. Firstly, all the issues I complained to in regards to my flat were completely ignored. The sitting room window and bedroom window were licking and this damaged alot of my property. I called in emergency for this to be fixed and they completely ignored me. They are just after the rent of their tenant and don't really care about their stay.

Before i started uni i was worried about finding suitable accommodation but after finding Ashbrookes and speaking to the staff they managed to find me exactly what i needed with my specific requirements. They helped through the whole process until i moved in and even after that. The room looked brand new and i have no problems or criticisms. i only had one issue while staying with them but that was sorted almost instantly after letting them know . Overall 10/10 very helpful.

40 minutes late to the viewing, the house was an absolute state. Said they just needed cleaning but honestly would be better off with remodelling with the broken sockets and pulled up vinyl flooring. Obviously did not care about the tenants living there from the way they were knocking on doors. Didn't even want to risk renting from them.

I had a very bad experience recently. I had a tenancy for a two bhk property at a rent of 475 per room and paid a holding deposit 560. The most important point is to note that the entire house was a mess and all the furnitures were damaged. Due to the bad electrical circuits the power went off frequently and i had to suffer from the loss of my laptop.when i complained about the furnitures there the landlord came and put some old and damaged ones .Customer service was entirely disappointing . And now they are reluctant to give the deposit back.

This is by Far the WORST agency that I have ever dealt with. They Lied to my son that a Car Parking Space came with the accommodation. Instead, he had to park around the back where barely 1 Car could fit. They did not inform my son that after he graduated, he would have to pay the remaining Council tax for 3 months till the end of his tenancy agreement totalling over £400. At the end of my sons tenancy, the agency informed him that he was upto date on all his payments and everything was fine. Only after 3 weeks, did they tell him that they were only paid 11 months rent, and that they had made a mistake in calculating. My son, who had now vacated the room, was then also told he would lose his £250 deposit money due to the room being left damaged and dirty. We made sure that the room was as we found it if not better yet, the agency insisted he would forfeit his deposit due to cleaning, damage and redecoration costs. However, when they claimed the £250 money back from the holding company, they did so under the pretense of 'Rent Arrears' !!! This is blatantly wrong for them to do so, as they claimed otherwise, then why claim as Rent Arrears ??? They have lied to us time and Again and made mistake after mistake, and now they wrongfully pursued us both (as I am his Guarantor) to pay the money back in full. My son has made them an offer to pay monthly as soon as he starts his new job in January 2024, but they now want the FULL AMOUNTS in one go. How can an unemployed person afford to pay them, when they have failed to provide any evidence of the alleged damage they claim, and they will not allow him or me speak with the landlord either. I highly recommend that you do NOT take this accommodation through this agency and even the other tenants have expressed their disappointment and dissatisfaction at how bad this agency actually is. I give this agency 0 out of 5 stars as they do not reply to emails or phone calls, and just a standard narrative that they have. NEVER AGAIN !!!
