I already gave a glowing report of the excellent service I received from two of your female staff in the Aberdeen office, Juliet Mc pherson and in particular Nicola Walker, who dealt with an issue at my property in a professional and courteous manner, these girls are a credit to themselves and Northwood as a company, my thanks to all concerned BTW I tried to to comment earlier, but don't know if it went through because of that ridiculous, I'm not a robot section which I think cancelled my previous comments, hopefully better luck this time

Northwood did a fantastic job for me. I was selling a second property which I owned. I lived 60 miles away and needed assistance from Northwood to prepare and show the flat. Because Northwood are also letting agents, they have access to trusted tradesmen i.e electricians, cleaners and removal firms. I needed these trades to assist me and prepare the flat for sale. This ensured that when the flat was put on the market it looked it's best which helped sell the flat quickly. The team at Northwood are very professional and know the Aberdeen market well. I also used Northwood's recommended solicitor for the sale - Andersonbain and they were perfect. I would now like to make a special mention of Ali Clark - Northwood's Residential Sales Manager. I dealt with Ali from start to finish. She arranged for various trusted trades people to attend my flat to carry out work in preparation for the sale. Ali is a first class communicator. She kept me informed and guided me through the sale process from start to finish. I was never left wondering what was going on at any time. She goes above and beyond to help a client. This is the kind of service all sellers want. The sale from start to finish has been smooth and hassle free. I strongly recommend anyone considering selling a property to use Northwood. Thank you Ali and thanks to your team at Northwood and thanks to Calum and his colleagues at Andersonbain. It was a first class service from all concerned.

My recent flat rental and the subsequent sale in Aberdeen recently concluded and the help and support with sales team with Ali Carter and my rental with Alicja Janiska, both Ali and Alicja were are get help and support as due to family issues which meant we were unable to go to Aberdeen to deal with any issue that need to be dealt with, ie meter readings, checking my flat etc.

My husband and I put our flat on the market the very year Covid hit. Owning a property in Aberdeen and living in Inverness could at times be a challenge but Northwood looked after all our needs. It did take a little longer to sell with firstly covid and the market in Aberdeen being flooded with property for sale. However Ali Clark looked after our property and took care in the winter months to ensure the heating was on and the flat was ventilated. It was a huge comfort to us knowing the we could email or call Ali and she would call round to check all was ok. She also assisted with the flat clearance and recommended a firm to us. Given the huge challenges in selling a flat in Aberdeen at the present time we are delighted that we have now completed. Thank you Northwood for looking after us so well.

Alli was great with our initial interactions and helped us find a property. We've been passed onto someone else now who is unhelpful, rude and comes across as patronizing. When communicating, most of the time a simple 'sorry' would be enough to make the situation better (like in most service industries) but the general response is arsey excuses. Also I see that the general response on here to a negative review is to say "we don't have a complaint on file for this"..... which is a perfect example of the failure to take accountability for the shortfalls in service. My experience as a tenant moving out of a property with Northwood Aberdeen has been very negative. The agency forgot to close the gas account they set up for me originally (bizarrely they did close the electricity account in time) and ended up charging me a crazy 'cleaning fee' for the exchange of a light bulb and the cleaning of a surface that was merely discoloured. No pictures were ever provided to show me that they magically managed to clear the discolouration but a handsome bill for whatever was provided.

Never got back to me when I needed help/advice. I kept the flat in excellent condition and applied for the rent back via safe deposit. Heard nothing back for 6 weeks not even q call to let me know how the check out went, until they asked me to pay 100 for cleaning g costs, 6 weeks later!! Place was left in good condition and if they felt it wasnt why not contact me at check out and give me the opportunity to rectify. Beware.NegativeResponsiveness

Over the past 3 years, we have had significant dealings with Northwood in multiple roles and throughout this time have been left thoroughly impressed with their service offering, and ability to handle our property while we moved and lived overseas. We initially engaged Northwood Aberdeen to take our property on as a Guaranteed Rental property, and they were absolutely fantastic for us - guiding us each step of the way on what was required for us to complete as first-time landlords, and helping us get our property in compliance. They swiftly found us good tenants while we were living overseas, and kept us informed of any issues in a prompt and timely manner. Fast forward two years, and we decided that the time had come to sell our property, and so we engaged Northwood Estate Agency with Laura Mearns, who personally oversaw our property listing, and successful sale. Although COVID delayed this a couple of months, the feedback and dedication from Northwood throughout was faultless. Being able to permanently leave the UK, and leave a property in the hands of someone else, requires a significant amount of trust, and confidence, but Northwood always left us feeling that our property was in their safe hands - and so it proved to be. As they expand their Estate Agency portfolio, we can only wish them the best of luck - they deserve to be successful, because from our experience, their philosophy on how to do business has been spot-on. Northwood were fantastic at managing my apartment over the years, their guaranteed rental program worked great for me in the years when my apartment could have tenants. While many of my contacts complained about not being able to find tenants, I had full occupancy for the entire time I used this service without too many issues. Ali Clark was my contact at Northwood and was absolutely amazing, responding to every email and request promptly, and endlessly helpful finding solutions to the multitude of building works and repairs that were needed, and finally helping me to sell the property. I honestly don't know what I would have done without her efforts over the years, I am forever grateful.
