Pretty disappointing overall.Our agent didn't particularly negotiate on our behalf and it felt like he was trying to please our buyers rather than do a good job for us. We didn't hear anything from him for 3 months after we accepted an offer, yet our seller's estate agent was in touch with us every few weeks to make sure things were on track. I eventually called our agent at the point of our purchase/sale almost falling through. He was oblivious to any problems we were having, hadn't been in touch with the chain or our solicitor or us. Over all it felt like paying for an online listing that we could have done easily ourselves. A significant amount of money for very little return. Go with an online agent and save yourself many thousands of pounds.

GoogleRecently completed our house sale through Bridgfords in York. They are a great team and Duncan was confident about marketing our property and achieving a good price, which they did after the open day. Ed also made sure he familiarised himself with the house beforehand so he could do the viewings. Their advice was spot on and they were always available to provides updates. Very happy with the service and would highly recommend.

Not happy at all been with them 5 years all visits don't leave you alone photos every year frightened to death you put any thing out of place don't feel like home necmver has done and to top it all off 200 pound bill to remove paint and a couple of fairy lights what the wouldn't recommend them at all disgusting never have I had deductions in 8 moves in mexborough got deposit back straight away no worries wish I hadn't painted kitchen and cleaned up now to loose 200 pound

GoogleNever met such an unprofessional one sided agent, rented a property which was dirty, handed it back after a years tenancy cleaner than it was when we moved in, now there holding £1060 and yes you’ve guessed it the cleaning etc comes to £1060 what a coincidence, court proceedings in progress, stay clear of renting, ok if your a landlord an extra months rent for them!!! Joseph king oh if I could leave minus 10 stars I would!!!! Total con merchants

I don’t know were to start this is the worse company I have ever dealt with they stuffed me into a property that wasn’t habitable Tommy and his staff were horrendous they said they was managing the rental property then changed there minds the landlords said the company was managing it but cárter Jonás then said they landlord was managing it there were loads off jobs not Finnish my 6 months was hell never never will I use this company the also talk down to you as if they are better than you please please be aware most off there reviews are fake it’s not surprising the got shut down there are a desgrace

I would put Zero stars if possible . What a horrific experience renting through carter jonas (Marlborough). They don’t tell you all the details of property and then when you move in will make life very stressful for you with nasty - I called them “bullying” emails. What an impact they had on our health for over a year , we pulled out of a 2 year contract early as was so bad in a very damp house with a violent neighbour - they also managed and couldn’t do anything about. They are Incompetent , rude , judgmental. When I pushed back and said they hadn’t told us certain details about the property or even added them to the contract, it was let’s not point the finger and blame their employees. It’s a good job we are strong and could fight back. I will never trust them with my purchase - attention to detail is crap , they lie, and disorganised .
