GoogleHad the WORST interview at Ashtons a while ago. When I arrived on time, the interviewer had forgotten I was coming for interview, and quickly scrambled. She took me into a board room which was filled with the left overs of a Friday night sesh, along with a large drawing of a naked man on a presentation board. Half way through the interview the director walked in and my interviewer decided to flirt with him, overall a very unprofessional experience, my time was wasted. Thank god I didn't get the job! Amen.
Unfortunately we were not able to offer you the position, as mentioned at the time, over three years ago, this is no reflection on you personally it is just that at the time there was a more suitable candidate. We hope that you have found successful employment by now and wish you all the success in the future.

GoogleNever experienced such awful estate agents. We were misled to rent a property that wasn't suitable. Within days we complained and asked for alternative options, but were never provided with any. The service and property management from Ashtons throughout our tenancy was appalling. They never sorted out any issues, requested constant access to the building, didn't inform any tenants of major construction work taking place at the property, and our complaints always fell on deaf ears. The attitude of the agents stinks, we were told to simply move elsewhere but were given no support to do so. In the end, our entire building (5 flats) made a joint formal complaint, in which Astons were even unable to comply with their own complaints procedure and they deflected the blame onto the Landlords (who had been more than helpful)... We have now reported them to the property ombudsman, who will hopefully stop Ashton's agents from misleading their customers and providing terrible service.

GoogleWe actually didn't even use Ashton's to sell out home but they were a part of our chain. Considering we didn't pay this company and they had no loyalty to us as their customer their service, professionalism and manners were beyond incredible. I delt with Gemma on multiple occasions and she supported us to such a high level that we would now only use Ashton's in the future and would recommend them to anyone.

GoogleI am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Ashtons Estate Agents. Communication has been poor throughout the entire process, and there have been significant delays in moving forward with the sale. Additionally, their valuations were incorrect and unrealistic, which affected the sale process. I feel my interests were not prioritized, and the lack of support has caused unnecessary stress. I would not recommend their services based on my experience. Edit- that’s not partner you just have 2 1 star reviews

GoogleHighly recommend the Acomb branch for a fantastic service. From the first valuation visit where Jade demonstrated compassion about our situation (a sudden bereavement) and an impressive knowledge about the area and house sales we knew we were in safe hands. The valuation hugely exceeded our expectations (and other agents valuations) but with a flexible, no contract approach that meant we could change agent whenever we chose we had nothing to lose giving them the chance to try for this price - although we fully expected to have to reduce it in the coming weeks. The admin team were amazing answering all our questions and arranging lots of viewings efficiently and professionally. To our joy the house sold for above the asking price in just over a week - we were amazed, relieved and so very grateful for the service and support we received. Thank you Jade for introducing us to Ashtons - you are a complete ambassador for your agency, thank you to Andrew for the viewings and to Janet, Hannah, Fran, Sarah and Oliver for arranging the viewings, keeping us informed and keeping everything ticking along. Apologies if I've missed anyone! The house sale completed yesterday and we are so very grateful to you all for making a sad situation stress free and ensuring Duncan's legacy for his son was maximised. GoogleWe listed our house with Ashton's and accepted an offer which ultimately fell through after a protracted process. Each individual staff member we spoke to were nice and friendly on all occasions. However, we often felt communication was poor, and we regularly had to chase for any details or updates; we were left to feel like they were doing us a favor rather than providing a high-quality service. Subsequently, we have decided to relist our home with a different agency.
