Racist agent

The agent that showed us around the property was incredibly intrusive and judgemental I would even say racist. It felt like we were being interrogated by the agent for wanting to relocate. The agent asked too many intrusive questions and actually had the cheek to ask if me and my partner were together a few times. My partner is from overseas. Thank you for letting us see the narrow minded folk of York prior to making a big mistake.

We used the Newton Le Willows to sell our house and the team there was great, Simon did the valuation but we mainly dealt with Stacey Jones who was a complete star and couldn't do enough to help us, she kept us informed about what was going on every step of the way. Very disappointing, a struggle to sell with and not supportive of sellers. And recently tried to make an appointment to view a property with them and been told there is no- one going to the property on that day so can’t view on the day after giving them a number of available days. Possibly the worst estate agent in history. We live opposite this bunch of fools in St Albans and for the last three years their alarm goes off after midnight all the time and we cannot sleep .if they cannot sort out an alarm problem then they are not that good for property matters . Avoid at all costs.

I don’t often write reviews but I’m appalled by the service we have experienced from Ashtons Estate Agents. After a cycle of canceled and rearranged appointments, we booked time off work and traveled to York for the apartment viewing. Whilst standing outside the property in the rain, we received a text message to say they had to cancel again. When we rang them they were extremely rude. Absolutely disgusting.
