GoogleI recently sold my property in Wokingham through Romans. I must say I had a fantastic experience especially with Adam Colvin who couldn't have been more helpful. GoogleWe went without a property manager for 6+ months as the previous one had left and no one took over or bothered to tell us. All of our maintenance issues were ignored and at the end of our tenancy they tried to steal from our deposit. Avoid at all costs.

GoogleRomans have sold my home and I just have to tell you my experience. Part way through the procedure I had to spend 6 weeks in hospital and am still housebound. Even before the fall the agents took me to view several properties and if I was not available took clients to view my property. Since my fall Daniel couldn't have done more for me. He's helped with paperwork and is still helping with my household effects etc. He really has gone 'the extra mile' and I am so very grateful to him. Thanks also to James, Matthew and anyone else who helped me during this stressful time. I don't think I could have gone ahead without their help. So I must thoroughly recommend Romans. GoogleI have been dealing with Matthew Leigh, from Romans in Wokingham, who has ben fantastic. I am a first time buyer and was very nervous about buying my first property but Matt put me at ease and took his time talking me though every step. My partner and I have received nothing but great customer service from not only Matt but the whole team in Wokingham. While looking for a property I received calls keeping me up to date with properties that were coming to the market but at the same time didn't make me feel under pressure. In summery my experience with Romans has been smooth and stress free, they have been friendly and professional throughout. I couldn't recommend them enough!

GoogleMatthew Witney, the Wokingham Manager, whom we first met on walking into the branch, was highly knowledgeable of the market, the area and the potential buyers for our house. His realistic valuation and confident prediction of the eventual figure we would achieve for our sale, were absolutely spot on. Thanks to all the staff who were always attentive and helpful. They all worked very hard to make sure people would come to see the house and were so amenable and pleasant it's no wonder prospective purchasers felt positive about the house.

GoogleAttempted to rent a house - Viewed, accepted and attempted to pay holding/deposit the same day (and via telephone the following two days) to be met with excuses like 'the agent dealing with this has gone on leave'. When she was eventually back in the office, I was told the property had gone to someone else. A cliched experience and a frustrating (beyond belief) week... Used an excellent, local independent agent on my next viewing and I'm now living happily in Wokingham - I'll be holding (and voicing) my discontent for Romans for many years based on this experience.

GoogleA massive thanks to holly who was amazing at helping myself and my boyfriend find our flat, I came in very last minute just after lunch asking for her to help find us a property before we went home (back to Dorset) that evening at 6pm. We had a nightmare with other estate agents! She listend to what we wanted and did her best to help us at such short notice. we are not from wokingham and she was very helpful in explaining the area and even timed how far the flat was from my new job! I can't thank Romans enough and especially holly for all there help so far!! Would definitely recommend!

Googlethey where fantastic at getting us in to the property but when the time came for the check out they where by far the most Anal and picky agents I have ever dealt with. the main issue is that they charged for things that where on the check in report as issues and tried to blame us for damage that was already there albeit minor. Additionally they where very slow to return deposit and not great at resolving ANY issues whilst we where living in the flat all in all a bunch of sales people with no interest in after sales assistance or contractural assistance almost as bad as prospect but slightly better

By the time the other estate agent had even put the pictures up on Rightmove, Romans were booking people in for second viewings. GoogleThis has been our third experience with Roman Team in Wokingham and as always was fantastic. All throughout the process of marketing to pre-sale and post sale they have been very professional. Matthew Witney, the Manager for residential Sale in particular was fully aware of our requirements, kept us informed throughout and closed the deal in a very timely manner. What I was really impressed was he was taking care of both the stake holders and was taking ownership for both parties. Will fully recommend them to anyone going through a similar process. GoogleAgents from various branches of Romans have started, today, bombarding me with emails when I have never even made contact with them before, nor shown any interest in properties in the area. Judging by the fact none of the agents replied when asking them to remove me from their mailing list, can only assume they have acquired a mailing list illegally.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
