I have been with Romans estate agents since January of 2023. It has been rocky in the beginning especially how the tenant intake, and check out happens. In the last year things have taken a big change for the better. I now have Anne Marie Osbourne who has been a dream to work with she is kind, thoughtful, and always helpful. She also doesn’t glaze over things when they go wrong. She accepts responsibility and aims to make it better. She also pays attention to details in the character of prospective tenants not just what they are saying. She pays attention to my schedule and ensures she calls me to get a quick answer to a question. She has made the process much easy and I’m so happy to have her working with my property. I would go to Romans to help find you a home to rent or buy.

We’ve recently started renting a property through this agency and worked with Jonathan Randall during the process. He was friendly, helpful, and responsive from the start, arranging a viewing for the house we liked within just two days and making the application process smooth and straightforward. There was some early emphasis on tenant insurance through their partner company, which we were a bit unsure about, but we appreciated that Jonathan was doing his best and staying professional throughout. We've working with Romans Wokingham since last year, when we decide to move into the area. Good communication with tenants/estate agent relationship, at first with Hayley McPhail and now with Elliot Bellis. Elliot is very polite and approachable. He's always keen to support as much as possible. All property issue were resolved within a good time frame. I appreciate how busy property managers can get in certain seasons, however quicker message of acknowledgement of issues reported and regular updated for the tenants peace of mind should be consider. The Report Maintenance Portal Fixflo is quick and easy to use and follow up any issues. Happy with the service provided.

I was really impressed with Romans estate agents in Wokingham. Alexandra really looked after me. On first meeting her she was very warm, friendly and professional. She showed me round and then advised me of a few things. I put my offer in and once accepted, she really helped me with the referencing side of things (I’m new to renting so this was alien to me). Her communication was fantastic as well as her professionalism. It was also a lovely touch that there was a ‘new home’ card and welcome box. Louise who did the handover of keys was also great! Excellent experience as a tenant renting a property with Romans with Anne-Marie’s help. I have rented at 3 different places in the last 3 years and this was by far the easiest and best experience thanks to Anne-Marie. Anne-Marie was efficient, friendly and helpful in her communications, always was available when I called and if she said she would call me back on a certain day she would. Full disclosure: our sale/purchase chain has still not exchanged, so this is a review of the service provided so far by Romans Wokingham. We started our engagement of Romans with a different agent (Jack) but eventually we moved to Morgan Thompson as Jack relocated. I'm confident I can say we wouldn't have been able to establish a chain without the smart and regular insight that Morgan provided us on a weekly basis. No seller wants to "reduce price" right? What I really appreciated was the fact that Morgan was upfront: "if you want to sell now, we need to look at the market, the interest/views on Right Move, and the calls we get - if you are willing to wait, this price can still happen but probably after December". I'm paraphrasing, but this is in essence the "kick" we needed to make the right move: reduce the price (gradually and reasonably) and keep a constant eye on the data, so that we could "do a Goldilocks" and get to the one that was right. We did, and now we have been moved to "Catherine" that is handling the constant back and forth of our chain (questions, looking for potential completion dates and so on). I think the team is doing a very good job, and I hope to come back in not too long to add another positive feedback after completion. Thank you Romans Wokingham
