From the first visit through to completion, both Ben and Luke were brilliant. I changed to Hat & Home after being with another agent for months and got full asking price within days. Due to the stamp duty holiday, the sale needed to be completed in approx 6 weeks and Ben managed this through despite a few challenges on the way! The worst AGENT IN THE AREA! Shocking how bad a sales and letting agent can be! After a disaster trying to sell with these people. Yes they phoned and bothered me at a funeral when i told them not too. I decided to let with them! I am now back in the UK to take back my house. I would describe this company as lacking any integrity! The lettings department is a disaster! Imagine having to return to the UK because nothing adds up and when you return to your house, there is nothing wrong and you have been lied too the whole time. These people will do anything to hide their incompetence. Many competent agents in town but I choose the wrong one! Dont believe the reviews! I was pestered constantly and asked leave a 5 star review. Cant believe a company can be this incompetent

Barnaby and the Hat and Home team in Crowthorne were a pleasure to deal with for the sale of my house. Hat and Home were professional, very responsive and able to find the right buyer for my property. The whole team were friendly and ensured a smooth process went ahead and we sold and completed really very quickly. I particularly liked the use of WhatsApp groups to allow convenient and efficient communication.

Hat and Home were the best Estate Agents we have dealt with in our quest to find a house. We dealt with Libby on both our viewings and email correspondence as well as Jack. Both of them are extremely communicative and clear with information and acted prudently when called upon. Libby was extremely helpful when it came to getting a 1st viewing on the property we purchased and gave us all the info we needed to make a decision. I would strongly recommend them to anyone who is looking to sell as well as buy as they really to everything they can to provide top quality service. Post purchase they are keeping us up to date on latest progress. They also recommend good brokers and surveyors to use as well.

The ad was for a Freehold property with garage. Did not mention the other freehold for the house above the garage. They issued a memo of sale, no mention of a lease or that the freehold above is not held by the garage freeholder. Legal liabilities are not clear, we may back out of sale.

We used Hat and Home to rent out our house in Wokingham. Harry from the agency was our primary contact. From the start, Harry engaged well with us and showed great enthusiasm in getting a quick closure. The efforts bore fruit and the property was let in less than 2 weeks of it being marketed by Hat and Home. This is remarkable considering two other agencies had failed. I think what stood out and worked for Hat and Home was: - robust screening process to identify prospects - very responsive and available on text messaging - nimble footed and less clunky way of working For example, while with other agencies we had to call a desk number, wait for a call back etc, here we could just message and received a response in a few minutes, I would highly recommend Hat and Home for property matters.

I can't believe that I am just about to say positive things about estate agents, but I HAVE to!! We have just exchanged on both purchase and sale with Hat and Home. Veiwings to buy with the friendly, honest, down to earth and hard working Barnaby were great. The office share a file on each property, with info they get from a 'team tour' before any viewings, which was helpful as both viewer and seller. Barnaby also did all the viewings for our property, and was always punctual, helpful and very proactive! Marketing of our property was efficient and effective, and shared and edited jointly. Barnaby found us a buyer, and got our purchase offer accepted on day 8 of being on the market!! Amazing at any time, but especially in this 'difficult' market that the press are claiming! Communications from their chain manager Lisa, were regular via a shared whattsapp group, so we knew what was happening at every step, sharing updates from everyone's agent and solicitor, which helped greatly with the stressful process of finalising exchange. I cannot recommend them highly enough!!!
