Ben is no ordinary Estate Agent! We moved with Hat & Home in June and Ben was outstanding in his support of our whole move (not just the sale). He offers clear, professional, honest advice and supported us throughout the process (even answering whatsapps and emails on a Bank Holiday!) We are so happy that we chose Hat and Home to conduct the sale of our old house and they also were the estate agents for the purchase of our new house. Ben is so positive, helpful and genuinely cares that you have a good experience of going through the process. I think he really loves houses and helping people, and that really shines through. For example, he was happy to go and personally measure up the fridge space of the house we were buying, as the owners were away on holiday. I am not sure how he does it, as he is so busy getting Hat and Home up and running, and somehow manages to appear in 5 places at once! But don’t be put off that Hat and Home is a new business. Ben knows the trade inside and out, and has great local knowledge too. We only called Hat and Home because they had an interesting name but we're so happy that we did. From the first meeting Luke was professional, friendly, knowledgeable and proactive and worked hard to secure a buyer for us. We genuinely felt he had our best interests at heart at all times and trusted his judgement. Until we encountered Hat and Home we didn't particularly feel that estate agents provided value for money but Luke earned every penny and got us over the line before the July deadline. From the first interaction with Danny showing us around, he was friendly and helped us secure our offer despite it being a late Saturday afternoon! Absolutely blown away by the professionalism of Luke and the team at Hat and Home. Right from the initial conversation it just felt so easy and natural and not like your stereotypical estate agents at all. Luke and his business partner have delivered on their excellent local knowledge, offering realistic pricing for the sale of our house and even finding many potential buyers even before the house went on Rightmove. Having marketed our property with another agent for nearly six months, we were relieved the day we met Ben and Luke from Hat and Home. In just under eight weeks, he listed our home, agreed a sale and got us to a point of exchange ahead of our move this Friday. Throughout the process, both Luke and Ben gave us honest and quality advice as they knew what it would take to get us moved within the tight deadline we needed to hit - it was clear that they had done this before and we felt we were in safe hands every step of the way! If it wasn’t for them, our move simply wouldn’t be happening. Whenever we called, any time with any query they always made us feel like the only, exclusive client.
