Excellent service, I really cannot recommended them highly enough, as a buyer when they first helped me purchase a property in the Peaks. All the staff have a solid and long standing knowledge of the area, the market, and local services (eg surveyors). They are friendly, attentive to detail and you really feel they have your interest at heart. If I was ever selling (no plans whatsoever, sorry, it’s too nice in the Peaks) I would immediately use their services because I trust they would be proactive to find the right buyer, and the right price. So if you want to buy I’d really recommend you get on Grants mailing list, read their e-magazine, but you had better be quick, the Peaks is a great place to live, and it seems many others also feel the same judging by the market appearing to keep rising.

Another agent treating buyers as mugs. The property I was interested in was sold during my application for a viewing both they couldn’t be bothered letting me know . Rude, unprofessional and alienates buyers. At some point soon the housing market will crash and agents such as this will be scrabbling around ‘phoning all the people in their contact lists to drum up business Don’t bother Apparently this agent replied to my posting claiming it was ‘spam’ - it wasn’t. The fact that you didn’t have a record of my request is merely further evidence of your incompetence and inability to service potential house buyers. Attacking genuine complainants is the very essence of poor customer understanding. Hopefully your existing and new customers will see that for what it is !!! Shawn I’m so sorry my review was grammatically poor only it perfectly matched your service level - and no, I did not make a mistake Grants of Derbyshire are poor service providers managed by poor quality managers who provide poor quality responses to legitimate customer service issues. And no I won’t be calling you as I have much better things to do Post script - dear Shawn despite your attempts to present my genuine review as ‘spam’ it would appear over 100 people to date have read my review of your nasty business practises and and very amateur attempts to rubbish my opinions. I have rented all over the UK and have never come across an Estate Agents as outstanding as Grants of Derbyshire. They epitomise what an estate agents should be and I just can't  recommend or praise them enough! The whole team worked with us and supported us right the way from pre-sale advice to completion…with a lot of work following up in between and ensuring that the sale kept on track, whilst keeping us informed along the way. The marketing was really nice, with plenty of photos (returning when we had made a change) and a proper walk-through video. The description was written in collaboration so that we were happy with how the property was described. They were just great.

Yet again, we've had a wonderful experience selling with Grants. Shaun's valuation was spot on. Nicola's eye for photography captured the soul of our property and brought in a steady stream of viewings. Nicola did her magic on Friday afternoon and had our house listed by midday on Saturday. Three viewings later we had an offer! Negotiations behind the scenes brought the offer up to a figure we could accept and further viewings that were already booked in were cancelled. The entire team was friendly, professional and effective. We were kept informed at every stage and nothing was ever too much trouble. I recently sold a property in Wirksworth. The team at Grants could not have been more helpful. It is a local firm with a really impressive local knowledge. Shaun gave excellent advice on the local market. My main contact in the sale of the property was Colleen who took a lot of care with the potential buyers and is a really fantastic person. Once the sale was agreed, Kerry took over the transaction and was extremely helpful and effective. I mostly interacted with these three people but the whole Grants team was very helpful and on-the-ball. I strongly recommend using this local, family-owned firm, if you need to buy or sell property in Derbyshire.
