GoogleVery poor customer service, incredibly disappointed. We rented a property over 18 months and there were many problems including hot water being turned off in bathroom for 2 weeks, exposed fuses to lights in communal areas, carpet causing trip hazard on stairs - these problems were either not addressed at all or were very slow to be addressed . At the end of tenancy they insisted that minor scuff marks and chips should be taken out of our deposit - we felt this was totally unreasonable as in every other property I have rented over the past 15 years this would always be the responsibility of the landlord and would be considered normal wear and tear.

GoogleI found Romans to be courteous and professional throughout our dealings with them. Communication was good, usually on a weekly basis, until our sale was agreed. It is after the sale is agreed that you find out how good (or not) your agent is. Romans was excellent in chasing up and down the chain, making sure that all parties are progressing. Often, they knew more about what was going on than our solicitor! There's a lot of talk about fixed-fee agents, but we feel that Romans earned their commission, and we recommend them.

A couple of hiccups encountered have been ironed out with care and professionalism and we are very happy in our new home (minus the unpacking of several boxes!) Thank you!!
