GoogleHave had negative experiences with estate agents in the past, I was pleasantly surprised with the commitment, knowledge and great advice that we were given by Romans. The team were always friendly and on hand to help out with queries. We had a regular stream of viewings and were religiously kept appraised of viewers comments, which was very helpful. Ultimately we sold our house at the asking price and couldn't be happier. It has been a real pleasure to work with a company who are genuine and passionate about what they do. I would definitely recommend Romans for anyone selling their home.

GoogleI have found dealing with this agent the most distressing I have ever known!! At the end of my tenancy, despite having properly cared for the property I had rented and indeed had the overgrown garden landscaped and improved at my own expense, I have been accused of causing damage to the property that was already present at the beginning of my tenancy!! I CAN NOT STRESS ENOUGH... PLEASE THINK VERY CAREFULLY BEFORE RENTING A PROPERTY FROM THIS AGENT, IT HAS CAUSED ME SERIOUS UPSET AND DISTRESS, HAVING BEEN ACCUSED BY THIS AFENT OF CAUSING DAMAGE TO THE PROPERTY I SIMPLY DID NOT DO!!!

GoogleHi In terms of admin and fees Romans is efficient and expensive. With regards to property management is not as well. I’ve been waiting for more than a month now for kitchen cupboard door to be fixed, still no change, no communication unless I chase.

We work hard to provide fantastic service to all of our customers and so it's discouraging to learn that you have had a negative experience with us. In respect of your comments around our fees we do try to be competitive with these. We are members of the National Federation of Property Professionals Client Money Protection Scheme through our membership of ARLA Propertymark as well as The Property Ombudsman and are a clear and transparent agent that advertise our fees to disclose all charges and do not add fees later on down the line of any tenancy. In regards to the issue with the kitchen cupboard I understand this was reported back in March, Bovis Homes the Developer of the property were required to attend to rectify the issue so we quickly got in touch with them but sadly have had to wait for them to attend to this. The repair was outside of our control and can see the team relayed to you that they would keep you updated in respect of this however would like to offer our apologies for the lack of communication you feel you received around this. We really hope that this can be resolved for you shortly. We’re sorry that the service you have received has not been up to the high standards expected of Romans. GoogleAs the buyer I wasn’t expecting much in the way from the seller’s estate agent, however Lyndsey (and the rest of the team) were fab. Lynsey definitely got me in to my new Winchester home much quicker, she never stopped pushing!
