GoogleI have had a terrible experience with Lillingtons estate agents. The staff all extremely rude and unprofessional. Their attitude is disgusting and the way they speak to their customers is appalling. The staff are unresponsive and ignore all telephone calls and emails. If you have an issue, you have to be the one who has to constantly be chasing them. My experience with Lillingtons Estate Agent, Whitehaven has hands down been the most terrible experience that I have ever encountered. Family and friends told me to stay away and I wish I listened. I cannot wait for my Tenancy to end so I no longer have to be in contact with them. I would strongly recommend using another estate agent, there is absolutely nothing positive I can say about Lillingtons estate agent.

FacebookDealt with the most rude and obnoxious woman on the phone to ask for a viewing and when she showed us round the house didn't introduce herself or give any eye contact or information. Made us feel she was superior to us. I'd never use or deal with this company ever again.

I recently bought a house in Whitehaven through Lillingtons. As I live in France, most of the dealings with this estate agent were by email or phone. The service that they gave me was excellent. The staff were courteous and very helpful which made the whole process easy and enjoyable. The various questions that I had about the property were answered swiftly and comprehensively. There's a very good team in the Whitehaven office. I would have no hesitation in recommending them to friends and relatives.

My house sale took a long time to go through.. (a total of 13 weeks) a previous buyer had pulled out and it had all been very stressful. Julie Heskett at Lillingtons kept me up to date weekly with how things were progressing and ensured the first time buyer we had was 'up to speed' with things. This helped to avoid stress and I felt I was always in the picture with what was happening. When she wasn't in the office she ensured a member of staff knew what was happening so they could also report back and new developments or hitches. Whenever I popped into the estate agents in Whitehaven staff were always friendly and helpful. Thank you

In today's market we were tempted to use an online agent to save money on commission, I'm so glad we didn't! Lillingtons know the local area and their target market very well. During the selling process we were kept informed every step of the way. Things weren't going to plan with the exchange and completion dates and I know Julie chased it every day, making the stressful time that little bit easier for us. Lillingtons have excellent customer service and an outstanding knowledge regarding all parts of the process, they understand that you don't want communication to stop after you have the sale agreed. They were there every step of the way with help and advice., we feel they truely are the best agent in West Cumbria and we can't recommend them highly enough. Initially a couple hitches, which were very quickly rectified by Julie, manager at Lillington's Whitehaven branch. The house was not going to be an easy one to sell. Though in a great sea front location, the house would not be to everyone's taste, and still needed money spent on it.. After quite a lot of interest, an offer came in, we negotiated a fair price for buyer and seller,.and that was that.. The house went on to Rightmove on 4th May and an offer was formally accepted on 1st July, with the sale completed on 31st August.. Lillingtons were always on hand to offer good, sensible advice. I would recommend Lillingtons to anyone.

Lillingtons Whitehaven provided an excellent personal service during the period of my house sale. On many occasions the agents went over and above their normal sales activities. They took a personal desire to achieve the sale. My main agent was Lisa Murphy.
