Northwood West Norwood reviews

I recently sold our house in West Norwood. We were overseas vendors and through the whole sale process from finding a buyer to exchange and completion I found Northwood to be communicative, professional and personable in our dealings together. The rate of commission was fair and I have no hesitation in recommending Northwood as a sales agent and also as a rental agent since we rented out our property through them previously.

Communication was just poor; nobody could be bothered to reply to emails in a timely manner so the viewing could be arranged earlier than it was. Arrived at viewing and after waiting, we called and were told an email had been sent that the property had gone- 9 minutes before the viewing time. Obviously we were en route. Nobody had called because all of a sudden our "phone number on the system was wrong". Utter nonsense. Wasted morning and very disappointed.

This agency is the one to go to - either as a prospective tenant or landlord: a swift and inexpensive service with a thorough background check and the property I rented from them - v fairly and truthfully represented in their advertisement. Reliable on-line rent payment option, which is handy when you're constantly on the go. Very helpful with all suppliers' switching when I first moved in. They performed a check of the premises early on, taking care not to interfere with my routine, which was helpful. Staff were very approachable and timely with their responses to any queries. Oh - AND they drive green cars!! A long leap from my previous lettings' agencies experience in South London.

Caspian has dealt with everything concerning the sale of my property in a very professional and calm manner and I am very pleased with the service I have received from him and his colleagues. I would, without a doubt, recommend Caspian and Stephen James Estates to friends and family who are looking to sell, buy or rent out properties in the future.

Looked for a flat for a while with my GF, all agents from other agencies we met where not professional, pushy and shown us properties in poor conditions. When we got in touch with Northwood , we have simply seen the flat with Arjan, which was very professional and relaxed. The letting process afterward was smooth and responsive. thanks a lotPositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

Duncan was friendly, proactive and helpful, assisting in many practical matters to ensure a smooth sale. We were impressed with the personal service offered by Northwood which has been so different from the 'chain store' experience of many high street agents. Good market knowledge also enabled Northwood to achieve a higher price than the other agents estimates. Would definitely recommend.

My partner and I moved to London from the United States to attend University. Northwood was not only the most professional and efficient agency we had been dealing with but they have since been very quick to answer any inquiries, have been quick to respond to maintenance requests and everyone in the office is absolutely lovely. I would recommend this office to anyone and have done so since moving in. Thank you for such fantastic service!

Northwood provided an excellent service in selling my late mother’s house. We live at a significant distance away in north west England and Duncan handled everything perfectly. We were kept well informed, viewings were handled well and they went the extra mile arranging a plumber to call when we needed some urgent work carrying out. Would highly recommend.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

Glad we have chosen Stephen James as our agent for the sale of our property in West Norwood. Ryan was our main contact. They were good communicators, very helpful and professional. They have gone extra miles assisting us throughout the entire process and we would be very happy to recommend their services to anyone. RA & YY

We dealt with arjan predominantly in trying to source the right tenant for our property, he was very polite and dedicated to finding the right tenant for the property as we had an awful tenant before so having spoken to the Lettings manager at this company we decided to instruct them and in next to no time arjan found us exactly what we were looking for, very grateful indeed

Northwood Estate Dulwich office managed my property for close to 10 years and they did an amazing job!! Before visiting the property for the handover I was expecting the worst after such a long time but I so so so pleasantly surprised, the place was almost as it was when I handed over to them. I would definitely use them again and again....and again. Brilliant!

We have just had the decking done through the recommendation of Julie, this is a very pleasant experience carried swiftly and beautifully by Demetrius and his son.
