GoogleI have used Melvyn Daynes to buy & sell properties . They were so good I used them again to sell my last property !! They have gone above & beyond to help , & support me with the sale. Very Friendly, good communication, respectful of my property and excellent value for money. Great team of people, all working together . I cannot recommend them enough .

GoogleAwful experience, spread lies between us and the landlord to get us through the door faster, knowing the landlord wasn't actually ready yet, and neither were we financially. They told us the landlord needed us in the house mid month (he did not) and told the landlord we need to move out mid month (we did not), but then we confirmed with the landlord that they are in fact a bunch of scumbag liars. Don't touch with a bargepole. ALSO they tell you things on the phone and they deny having ever told you because theres no record of it being said. Also side note: when signing the contract i told the woman i bought my favourite pen, from that point on she started talking to me like i'm an actual child (felt kinda ableist) which i though was super weird and kinda patronising.

GoogleStaff are extremely friendly, knowledgable, and I always feel welcome whenever I go in to see them about anything. Shout out to Vanessa and Adam in particular, they have been so helpful over the years helping me when buying my house, and I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to buy or sell a property.

GoogleMelvyn Danes provided a really excellent service. First by providing a realistic valuation and then working very hard to achieve a sale. They were proactive, creating lots of viewings and kept on top of every aspect of the sale, as well as keeping us fully informed of progress throughout. They have a truly excellent knowledge of the local areas in which they operate. If you are looking for an agent to sell your property in the Shirley/Solihull area then you are not likely to find a better Estate Agent.

GoogleWe were shown the house by Lucy, who was excellent, and always available to help with queries etc. She also had a very pleasant and happy manner which was great, as house buying can be stressful. Once we had an offer accepted, Sam, who was the branch manager was who we dealt with. She was also very professional and helped us liaise with a "tetchy" vendor, and was a massive help with communicating to their legal team. I would recommend Melvyn Danes estate agents, and being supported with this team took a lot of the hassle away, and allowed for a swift completion. R. Hallan.

As can be expected in the property market, some sales go smoother than others, we found Danes team always strived to act in our best interests, always approachable and willing to go the extra mile to get the job done. GoogleLost all confidence in Melvyn Danes. financial detriment caused to Landlords pocket, they don't care. No duty of care here. Gave them a chance to redeem themselves, not only did they not offer this loyal customer no good will gesture but brushed me away. Patrick was very unhelpful and uncaring. STAY AWAY.

Google1st Class Service received from the team at Melvyn Danes Shirley when selling our family home. They exceeded our expectations in terms of quality and customer service and did everything they said they would within their stated timescales. We were delighted to receive an offer well above our expectation within 2 weeks of the property being marketed and the team continued to keep us updated throughout the process through to completion. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Delighted.

GoogleI am glad that I met a good agent (especially attribute to Samantha) in Melvyn Danes Shirley. They are not only competent but also attentive and responsive. As a buyer who doesn't pay them any fee, they not only keep me updated before completion but also help me to take care of the bills and council tax after completion. I will definitely look for them first if I have any property selling / letting in the future.

GoogleFrom the initial consultation, through to completion the team at Melvyn Danes in Shirley provided an excellent service throughout. The sale was slightly complicated as the property had been unoccupied for a number of months, I was not based locally, but the dealing with them from afar. I was kept fully informed at all times and the team also managed viewings and other related matters efficiently. Furthermore the sale was above the original asking price!
