My wife and I had a property viewing scheduled today in Watford with Warren Anthony.As we are travelling from central London and the commute is 1h30min, we called in the morning to confirm the viewing and the agency confirmed. We were quite excited to view this property, we really liked the photos and the area. When we arrived at the property, we were hosted by a white man in his late 50's / early 60's, I believe called Alan. First of all he tells us that he doesn't have the keys to the property and we have to reschedule a viewing next week. This was very frustrating and unprofessional, especially because we confirmed the viewing earlier with the agency. But this was not the worst part, when we started asking basic questions about the property he suddenly started to get angry with us and started screaming at us. We've never experienced this before, he is the one that doesn't have the keys and instead of apologizing he is screaming at us! We felt borderline racism in his tone and were shocked by the whole experience. We would never want to engage with this agency again. It was the worst experience we had so far.

From the first time I viewed the flat I went on to rent, all at Warren Anthony Watford branch were professional, efficient and friendly as well as true to their word. I was told that day that I would get a call back within half an hour of the viewing and I did. From that point on, everything went as smoothly as it possibly could have done, right up until two years later when I am now vacating the flat. Every member of staff I have dealt with has been courteous and excellent at what they do and communciation, be it by phone or by email, has always been prompt. Should I ever enter the rental market again, I wouldn't hesitate to use them, most particularly the Watford branch who pretty much took away all the stress from the admin of moving in and moving out with their brilliant service. I will genuinely miss dealing with them all! Thank you!

They always managed to let it swifty with the help of cheerful Stephen Mummery and Brenda managed to deal with any problems that arose over the years. Having sold the flat last week I can vouch that Dan in sales was also very capable and kept me fully informed of how the transaction was proceeding. A unusually nice Estate Agents to deal with.

all nice and well until you need to get your deposit money back. then they will pressure you and try to take as much as possible for basically nothing. waited 3 months for some receipts from them to actually prove some sums, and they came up with half of them, and that being some easily to fake invoices. I really didn't believe they will get at a level so low.NegativeProfessionalism

We have recently moved into our property in Watford and although upon moving into the property there were a series of faults (water leaks, internet issues, etc) they responded and acted swiftly, resolving any issue that presented themselves. Had we have been with another estate agents I do not believe any of these problems would have been fixed with such speed. The staff are lovely, really easy to talk to, and seem to genuinely care about your wellbeing in your home. The customer service is probably the best part about these guys. If you're looking to move, you can rely on that this company does things thoroughly, properly, and you feel looked after by them. I have dealt with Warren Anthony recently. I was hoping to buy a 2 bed flat in Watford. A lady who showed us the property was very impatient and almost laughed at us when we wanted to check heating etc. All switched off, you pretty much need permission to switch the light on! Like if you're hiding something. The more questions you ask, the more you feel like you're wasting their time. No one ever called us back when requested twice asking to arrange another viewing. Battling for a week to arrange a viewing I found out that the property would be coming off the market as there has been offer accepted. Simply they do not like making business with people who ask lots of questions, who checks things. It's simpler to choose those who walk in and do not ask for a second viewing and make offer earlier. Not to mention unprofessional behaviour of lady showing us around. This is how you earn a certificate of excellence?? Do not think so. 100% excellent reviews on their website,most likely lots of them fake ones or those negatives one being deleted. I will see if my negative one will be permitted,if not you know why. Fortunately there's plenty of estate agents on the market and already dealing with someone who cares and makes an effort to call us to update on regular basis. Overall not recommended

I started to use the property letting service of Warren Anthony in 2007 to rent out my properties in the Watford area after mediocre service from other local agents. The service that Warren Anthony provides has always been excellent. They know the area inside out and therefore provide accurate rental values so that I have no voids. The back up service and property management is always prompt and comprehensive and the staff, from the principals downwards are efficient, helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

I have recently used WA for my flat sale/purchase and was very impressed at the high level of professionalism received by Tony, Dan and Kirsty. I experienced the heartache of an aborted sale last year which resulted in the loss of a property as well as a financial loss but they kept me motivated and upbeat at a time I wanted to give up. Their determination resulted in a move to a wonderful property (all things happen for a reason so they say!) and the team were key in liaising with all interested parties, keeping me updated with all progress and lifting my spirits when things seemed impossible - after a 50 week moving process, they became part of the family. I would highly recommend them and if I ever consider moving again, would use them without hesitation.
