Renting a property through Marshall Vizard we moved into our accommodation in June 2020, they claimed it had been professionally cleaned but state of cleanliness was extremely low. During covid we expected extra care to be taken but when we made the estate agent aware of the situation with the photos below(further photos of greasy cupboard, uncleaned toilet, coffee marked walls have not been included), we received no response and we were left to clean it ourselves. Further to this, upon the departure from the accommodation at the end of our tenancy we had the fee of a professional cleaner taken from our deposit despite cleaning the flat by hand and in fact leaving it in a generally better state than when we arrived. Poor customer service, low standards, they don't protect the interest of tenants and will take money at every opportunity. Would recommend if using them, take photo evidence of the state of the flat directly upon receipt of the keys, it may become very helpful

We have been really impressed with Marshall Vizard. They were the estate agent selling the place we bought back in 2016 and have recently sold the same property through them because we were really happy with their service back then. They continue to be excellent and we are so grateful we chose them to handle our sale as it turned out to be a more complicated process than expected - buying and selling during a pandemic was never going to be straightforward... They are professional and great with communication but also really friendly and approachable. We have now moved out of their area but we would be using them again in future if we were still in Watford. Highly recommend.

Rebecca and Jemma at Marshall Vizard were outstanding: fast, efficient, kind, not at all pushy and didn't speak poorly of other agents. They were both professional and helpful at all times and kept us informed throughout the process, empowering us to make our own decisions. If you read Scott Lawrence's review below, this gives an accurate reflection of the company. I was shocked to see the positive reviews here. I am a tenant and the process of renting through Marshal Vizard was truly awful. They were dishonest and pressured us to hand over large sums of money with neither contract or keys. They were extremely patronising in the process. If the other reviews here are genuine, which I doubt, they must be written by property owners.

We sold our house through Marshall Vizzard. Sophie and David both were very professional and helpful. They were always available when we needed them. We liked their less pushy approach compared with some other agencies. When David advised us to drop the price we were a bit nervous to do so, but it resulted in a quick and good sale so we were glad we trusted their advise as it resulted in us being able to buy quickly for a good price as well.

The team at Marshall Vizard were excellent to deal with. We were first time buyers so they really helped us understand the process and even chased up the mortgage brokers for us when there were some hold ups. They were also very accommodating in allowing us to see the house on numerous occasions. The estate agent we dealt with was Sophie and it was no surprise to see on the Facebook page she has won a number of awards and has had recognition for her work as she was a pleasure to deal with.

Both Sophie Newberry and David Vizard at Marshall Vizard in Watford, provided a very professional estate agent service throughout the 12 months I was selling my property. They were always available, maintained a clear line of communication and resolved many issues often last minute when it seemed my chain was lacking momentum. They went beyond the call of duty than most other high street agents. I can see they have a good rapport with their clients and clearly they are passionate and knowledgeable about the local area. As the online estate agents grow bigger I think now, more than ever, personalised, local area knowledge is key to independent businesses standing their ground and delivering a service that few bigger agencies could ever hope to match. I highly recommend them, and would definitely use them again.

Best estate agency I've ever dealt with as a tenant (I've dealt with 4 in the last 8 years). Their staff is lovely, all my issues with the property are sorted out very promptly. Also, they don't charge for renewing tenancy (how rare is it) and their admin/referencing fees at the begining of tenancy were acceptable compared to some crazy fees some agencies charge tenants. I even received a Christmas card signed by the team with all sort of info and contacts for the festive period cover! Nice touch, would highly recommend.

What did I like? They are conveniently situated within town and have nice friendly staff, who were quick to help us find potential lettings. However overall I was not entirely impressed with the level of service obtained from this organisation, and I would not recommend them onwards. Why? Well communication was too slow and we lost out on other opportunities whilst looking for a suitable tenancy, which had a big effect on our move. They did however quickly give me a full refund.

We sold our home in Watford through Marshall Vizard in 2011. They achieved top end sale price, in a very short space of time. However, where they really excelled was in the sales progression following the acceptance of the offer. Our chain wasn't an easy one but they did a great job in keeping it together even when our buyer lost the property they were going to buy, they offered sound advice to her even though they weren't the selling agent of that property.
