Skirting Board Fix

From the beginning of the process. It was entirely seamless. Allan Taylor who came in on the scheduled date for fix the skirting board came on the exact time as agreed. He was very professional and polite as well. Got on to the task and completed it in time. At fix was flawless with no signs to say anyone had worked on the skirting board. A Quality Build and Excellent Service

Fiona and I had been looking for a while at different new house builders. After seeing many houses around the Aberdeen area we settled on CALA at Craibstone. We particularly liked the build quality and the extras that came as standard. We initially met with Caitlin and could not be more reassured that we had made the right choice of house builder. Caitlin happily showed us numerous properties and we settled on a Kennedy style. We were very fortunate that Caitlin realised that we were experienced property owners and let us view our plot during the construction. This led to an 8 month partnership with Caitlin, Ross and Mark which allowed us to personalise our build and internal fittings. Throughout the whole process we felt valued and nothing was too much bother which we really appreciated and ultimately resulted in our new home. We are delighted with the end product and the team at Craibstone. We would not hesitate to recommend CALA, particularly for; build quality, finishings, after care service and the personal touches that make a new house a forever home. Please thank Caitlin, Ross and Mark for all their help over the past 8 months.

The best home and staff experience

Caitlin made the experience of buying our forever home amazing. With the ease of part exchange took away any stress so we could focus on all the exciting bits. Caitlin went above and beyond so many times and we are forever grateful for her super friendly and positive outlook, it was always a pleasure speaking with her. Our home is everything we could dream especially with our added extras we chose to put in. Leaking windows/doors - looks like a wider issue not just my house, just out of warranty and initially told nothing CALA could do about it

UPDATE TO BELOW AS OF 20TH JUNE 2024Cala have worked closely with their window subcontractor to make improvements to our predominately east facing windows and we have just had 2 days of work completed on our house at no cost to ourselves. ETHAN RUMNEY in Cala Customer Services has been very helpful in attending to our issues and managing. Really appreciate the fact CALA have attended to this.------original text below------We live in a row of 2 and a half year old CALA homes. Today during heavy rain and wind 2 windows and the front door leaked in my house - 2 quite heavily. It seems this has been affecting a number of the houses for a while and repairs made but not all successful. Whilst we are out of the 2 year warranty this looks like a wider systemic issue and of real concern.CALA customer service initially said they could do nothing about it and referred to the 2 year warranty. However they are now sending contractors tomorrow to investigate.I'll post another review when the picture becomes clearer and hopefully resolved. For now citing the 2 year warranty when I have leaking windows in a 2 and a half year old house does not fill me with confidence.

2 great workmen

I have just had George Fisher and Connor in for some remedial work to my home.Connor was very patient and listened to my concerns and talked me thoroughly through the options of the fix to give me the knowledge to allow me to decide how we should proceed.George was very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond on resolving the issues around my home. Such a delight to have in my home and put me at ease knowing the work was being done to a highly professional standard. My wee dog Lexi loved him too!This review is purely for these 2 workmen as this hasn’t always been the case with Cala but these 2 are a credit to the company.

Snagging works

We have recently had George Fisher and Connor Campbell attend our house to finish some snagging works - both were fantastic.George attended over two days to complete some plastering and paint work and he couldn’t have been nicer. He did a really thorough and excellent job; his rapport with customers is great - he’s friendly and puts you at ease. Connor has attended our property a few times now and he’s a very genuine, patient and knowledgable guy. He answered all our questions (of which there were many), was reassuring and, most importantly, did a thorough job.Big thanks to Vicky Sowden for arranging all snagging works to be carried out in a friendly and timely manner!

Great job Marius!!!

Marius was assigned for some maintenance work in our newly built house 7 months after we moved in. He did an outstanding job fixing all the issues. The level of perfection in his work was impeccable. He is a very polite guy who listened to our issues with patience and took his own sweet time to sort out all the issues perfectly. We are really impressed with his dedication towards work and such kind of customer service. It’s not very common these days. A warm welcome by Sunnie when we stepped into the Sales Office at Oakbank, Phase 2, Winchburgh. Sunnie was very friendly, positive, and a joy to chat with, treating our interest in the Cala development with respect and a genuine willingness to help with a really positive attitude.We were made aware of the Plots available and incentives offered by Cala. After a walk around the show home, we discussed what would be the next steps. Fast forward three weeks, we are very excited to be reserving our Cala home. 5 Star sales & customer service team

This will be my 3rd Cala property, each I have loved, but it really has been their sales team at the Princes Quay development that has made the buying & moving experience enjoyable rather than stressful. Today I got to view my new apartment and was not disappointed. My entry date is not for one month, however the Cala sales team were very accommodating in letting me in to measure & choose window dressings, these final touches will be made in time for entry date. I was particularly interested in a certain plot since the development began, even before release Vicky from the Cala team kept me up to date and I finally got the one I wanted. From choosing the plot, additional extra touches and helping us with the decor, answering numerous calls & enquiries Vicky and the team have been marvellous. The full team including site supervisor have all been easy, helpful & a pleasure to deal with. I was recommended Cala by friends and have went on to recommend to my own friends and family. I have bought from 5 different new home builders over the years and would recommend Cala as providing and delivering the best service & homes in the industry. I can honestly say I will be sad to see the team leave when the development is sold out. If ever I move in the future a Cala development will be my first choice.

Great experience from start to finish

After reading lots of horror stories about new builds we were really nervous about buying one. However our experience with Cala Homes at Rosebrook in Hambrook West Sussex has been excellent. From the staff in the sales office who looked after us during the buying process to the excellent site manager Simon who has kept on top of our little snagging issues since we moved in two months ago. We were not happy with the amtico flooring before we completed and the team worked together to have the floor completely replaced four days before completion because they wanted us to be happy with our new home. We have had nothing else major in terms of snagging and we are over the moon with our new home. I would 100% recommend Cala for the quality and their service. It’s great that the price includes everything where other developers advertise lower prices but by the time you add all the “extras “ they are more expensive.

Myself and my wife wanted to buy a new build, and after our first visit with Cala we instantly saw the house we wanted to call home. After initially meeting Lucy at Langmead Place, Angmering, we found she was very warm and welcoming with a friendly approach, which instantly made us feel at home. Later in the process we were introduced to Levi who was equally as professional and friendly. Fixing Problems in our Flat

When we moved into our CALA home at Ocean Terminal we had a few snagging points that need fixed. They were assessed quickly and then a CALA team member arrived and carried out fixing ALL the items quickly and thoroughly. He was called Gordon Leishman and he was a fantastic ambassador for CALA. Superb in fact. Nothing was a problem and he left a high our apartment looking brand new. Thank you Gordon for your outstanding work. A fantastic ambassador. Brilliant.

Delighted with the customer service experience from Stuart and the team at CALA Homes North. We’d identified an issue with the amtico flooring within our bathrooms. This issue was out with CALA’s control. However the team at CALA Homes North took the time to really listen to our feedback and identify a range of solutions to put things right for us. The contractor that CALA appointed to resolve the issue was professional and they also completed the remedial works within a really quick timeframe.
