We have been searching for a family home for sometime in the Edinburgh area.Today we passed the show complex at Earls Rise in Stepps and called in , although we didn’t have an appointment and only wanted a look at the show homes, we received a warm welcome from Pauline who took the time to show us around the lovely show homes and explained the reservation process and how part exchange works. What a delightful lady, so professional and knowledgeable with such a lovely manner. We have been round builders over the last few months but none have come up to Pauline’s standard. Well done Cala Homes, a real touch of class. We will most certainly be recommending.

He takes this level of professionalism far beyond my previous experiences. Davie, always says he’s just doing his job, and to him, that’s the case. In my experience with 4 previous builders this is not the standard set by others. A true brand ambassador and an asset to the company. These days we rarely have unsung employees who truly deserve the exposure and recognition. I do hope Cala’s directors (Suzanne) and management team recognise this level of service and take the time to appreciate the value add people like Davie brings. I had a leaking window, and customer support (Emma) did a great job getting people on the job quickly.The roofing contractors did a good job on fixing the issue.Paul (the decorator) did a fantastic job covering up the marks left, and went the extra mile by also covering up some scuffs we'd made.Everyone was so professional and communicated well.I'm glad I bought my home from Cala, any issues have been dealt with very well.

They’ve regularly updated us on plots that we were interested in and have had great communication throughout the year or so we’ve had interest registered. They let us know about something we’d likely be interested in and it’s ended up being exactly what we were after. Lynsey, Fraz & Ann have l been informative & welcoming and have been able to answer any and all questions that we have had. A great service and looking forward to continuing to work with them and their brilliant service as we move in.

Instead of transferring the freehold of the common areas of land to the residents in their Roydon development, Cala have sold this land from under their noses - despite promising to do so in their sales literature and legal documents. Cala have also ignored all the correspondence sent to them by our management company who have maintained the land for 28 years.So much for their claim of providing outstanding levels of service to their home buyers.

Been in our house 2 years now, and Cala have been excellent all the way through - from sales, to the site team, the contractors fixing the snagging and most recently Darren and Lynne from Customer Services East, everyone's been a pleasure to deal with, really helpful, and we've got an outstanding house to show for it.
