I had an exceptional experience using Martin & Co Wanstead for both a house purchase and associated sale. The brilliant, lovely and knowledgeable Laraine kickstarted it all with a detailed and helpful overview of the house I was interested in and that very much encapsulated what I was to expect in the following weeks.The finer details when it came to market my home were also beyond expectation. Professional photography to do my home justice, a 100% precise floorplan, video tour and strong promotion to attract the right interest. But when that's all said and done, you're hoping you have someone in command and control when it comes to sales progression. In Lorraine, I was fortunate to have an absolute diamond. Totally on it throughout, chasing where necessary, guiding all parties involved, updating and making things move with pace. She was truly superb. It underlined that a good team can get by with 1-2 decent people, but a great team requires everyone to be on the ball and Martin & Co certainly have that.They set the bar very high and are the best estate agent experience I've had to date. 5 stars are fully deserved and I recommend them wholeheartedly. They had the best properties in the area compared to all the other agents and Rob Hall was especially helpful; finding suitable options, setting up viewings for us and taking us through every stage of the process once we had found the flat we liked the most. Laraine and Richard were so helpful throughout the whole moving process. I was helping my elderly in laws sell their property and Martin and Co were the best estate agents! They kept myself and my in laws up to date. They accompanied the viewers and showed them around the property so that eliminated any extra stress. Larainne was always willing to answer any questions and did this promptly. They also liased well with other estate agents in the chain and in the end the move all went through as we had hoped and my in laws are settled into their new area and house. She arranged the viewing for us. At the viewing, she was honest with all our questions and highlighted all the benefits of living in the area. We didn't feel rushed and were allowed to make our own decision on the property. We bought it! Laraine and her team took care of everything involving the legal side, allowing us to relax. We have no intention to move from our new home for possibly decades but would definitely use them again. I approached Martinco with a sense of dread because from my experience dealing with estate agencies was something that had to be endured in order to find a flat. To my surprise, I met Rob Hall from Martinco at our first flat viewing and he was very friendly and did not give us a hard sell or try to push us in any way. The friendliness continued even after we were signed up as tenants. All the paperwork needed to move into our new flat was uncomplicated and a lot of it was done by email and online portals which was very convenient. There were no excessive fees / hidden costs which was a great relief. I think that Martinco is a great asset to Wanstead because it provides an important service within the community with great friendliness and without crippling charges. I can only recommend - and I never thought I would ever recommend an estate agency.

GoogleMartin and Co have been my Managing Agent for over eight years now, and the service has been of the highest standard throughout. Mike, Richard, Anne and the team have always ensured that as an overseas landlord, I received up to date info, and helpful relevant advice. Any problems regarding tenants, repairs, payments etc, were quickly dealth with and resolved. Mike's team, office systems, trade contractor contacts etc, have ensured that the whole process of managing a large multi tenant property has gone as smoothly as possible. With the bonus after a long working relationship, of considering many of the team friends, rather than simply business connections. I highly recommend Martin and Co Wanstead to any prospective landlord, and am more than happy to provide more back up via email.

They have proactively helped us to look for suitable properties and proactive is not a word I have ever used before for an Estate Agent! They never contacted us with anything that didn't fit our profile and even (because we had tight time constraints) suggested we look at something another agent had on their books when they didn't think they had anything to fit our requirements. GoogleI have used Martin and Co in Wanstead for the last 4 years initially for letting my property on a fully managed service and more recently for a key holding service. Mike and his team are extremely approachable, friendly and very responsive and I have nothing but high praise for the service they have given me. When there have been issues with difficult tenants, I have found all of the staff very helpful in dealing with problems and Mike himself is very accessible and proactive in handling matters where his input is required. I would strongly recommend them to anyone looking to let a property around the Wanstead area.
