GoogleDaniel at Castles was extremely helpful during the whole process and he had a very calm manner which made me feel less stressed about the whole process during the sale of my flat. He was always able to answer any queries I had over the phone or via email the same day if not the same hour and if he didn’t know he went and sought the answer and got back to me straight away. I’ve heard many horror stories about selling properties with dodgey outcomes or processes but I can whole heartedly recommend Castles estate agents in Waltham Abbey and Daniel Tagliarini to make it as smooth as possible.

GoogleMy partner and I decided to downgrade and sell our home as our last daughter decided to move out. I didn't have any experience with the estate agents in Waltham Abbey so I decided to test them all.
The agents were shoddy to say the least, they just didn't feel trustworthy which in my opinion is extremely important. I was about to give up but luckily Castles came to the rescue. They are just a cut above the rest in Waltham Abbey and go the extra mile with service, in particular the Branch Manager Daniel Tagliarini made me feel really welcome and I trusted them.
So within 2 weeks my house was sold for full asking price and Daniel also found the perfect place for me as well. 11 out of 10 for me!!
To top it all off my daughter's house fell through with another agent in Waltham Abbey (typical), which left us disappointed but Castles were able to also find her perfect place as well.

I’m sorry to see your one star review. We ourselves are very disappointed to receive this. I’m sorry to see you have said we are rude- you mentioned this after I asked you to stop shouting at me, so I’m sorry this came across as rude, but I will not be spoken to in such a manner. I was simply stating the latest update to you, in that the seller of the property you are buying has not found a property yet and that she asked for you to stop making unannounced visits to the property which made her feel very uncomfortable. This was the LATEST update. I’m sorry this was not to your satisfaction. Please bear in mind we find fairness very important, and therefore we did not request you start any legal works on your purchase until there was complete chain. I’m sorry to hear you felt pressured when asked to provide proof of agreed mortgage and other supporting documents when getting your offer agreed, but we simply made it clear we cannot take the property off the market until you have been vetted. Maybe it came across as pressure considering the length of time it took for you to send these over. Please remember we requested the same for your buyer on behalf of you when we sold your property, but it seemed acceptable then. GoogleA non professional approach from Daniel a memeber of the team, i was rejected from re-contacting the agents for any other property in the future, and the reason was for offering 20k less on an over priced property. Secondly i was accused of attending a viewing with more than 3 people, but we politely asked the homeowner if it was possible to enter in turns but the homeowner agreed to accsept us all but some how we still get accused of breeching the rules. I would certainly avoid all properties linked to this estate agent.

Dear Mr Umur Toguz. Thank you for your review and I'm sorry to see you have given one star as we never want unhappy potential buyers. However, I must say that your story of events is grossly misleading. Firstly, you were not asked to not contact us in future due to you offering an extremely low offer for a property, but you were told that we cannot hold further viewings for you due to you asking the seller directly to "cut the agent out" of the sale. Unfortunately we do not tolerate such underhand practices. I informed you of this after the viewing, so I'm confused to read you have fabricated a different reason. Luckily, we have a great working relationship with our Vendors, and this particular one bought this to our attention. In regards to you brining SIX people to view a one bedroom apartment, you were advised this was not all allowed due to our Covid-19 guidelines. You were told this three times, after you questioning the matter, yet still SIX people attended the viewing. Since speaking, my vendor felt she had no choice to allow the people in but in turns.
