GoogleIt Takes a lot for me to write a review, I registered my interest with the commercial people to let a shop in West Kirby , nobody responded, I called twice to arrange a viewing and nobody came back to me, on the third attempt I managed to arrange a viewing, when I got to the premises I was told there would be somebody there to show me around, the place was in darkness, however I knocked on the door and a rather terrified looking lady appeared frozen to the bone was hesitant in letting me in as she knew nothing about the viewing, I then registered my interest and was rudely told I would have to fill a application form in and they would then consider my application, I asked for the form to be emailed across and guess what.... Its never arrived, In these times where shops are left empty you would thing they would do everything to get people into them, not the case with this bunch of rude, none communicating , unprofessional bunch of people, I feel sorry for the people who advertise their properties with them.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleIf your looking to buy a property & the property is being sold through Bakewell & Horner I would advise you run a mile. I’ve bought a property with them 2 months ago & I’ve been having issue after issue with the house although I had an extensive & thorough survey done. 9 out of 10 things that were highlighted on the snag list pre- completion wasn’t done. But I was told it was and was constantly hounded, getting phone calls every single day, being told to hurry up as the seller will put the house back on the market if it’s not completed ASAP! 12/13 weeks into the mortgage process. I literally ganged up on and was having anxiety every single day, thinking my house was going to be put back on the market.! In hindsight now I wish to god it had! I moved in & the gas wasn’t connected to the cooker! I wasn’t able to put appliances such as a washing machine or dryer in as there was physically nowhere for them to drain! I had to pay a plumber to do the work necessary for me to be able to have these basic home appliances put in. Light fixtures all loose, bath panel coming apart in my en-suite, banister on landing loose and someone could lean on them & fall over the stairs! This was a house that was supposedly fully renovated !… I’ve sent emails to all the staff at bakewell & horner which all seem to miraculously end up in the spam or trash hence why I don’t get a response from them. If I could’ve given a minus 0 review I wouldn’t. Stay far away from these money grabbers! Once the house is sold they could careless… absolutely disgusting company.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleAwful customer service. Arranged a viewing on a property, was told I would get confirmation sent via text. Text never came. Arrived at the vacant property at agreed time. No one was there, called estate agent they said they would chase the vendor and call me me back. No one bothered to phone call me back at all. I called the estate agents back 45 mins later. They said they couldn't get hold of the vendor. No apology for not getting back to, just an excuse that they said my phone wasn't connecting when they tried to call? Despite me calling them from the same location with a full signal?NegativeProfessionalism

I was trying to sell. They were unprofessional, disinterested & zero communication. Defensive when challenged & they also lied to me. Avoid. There are plenty of other agents out there who would appreciate your business.
