I see a property for sale with the Hornchurch Branch. I phoned on the 30th to ask to view and was told no more viewings until new year. I walked passed the Branch just after and see two staff in there not doing alot. I then phoned new year on the 3rd to view on the 8th. Was told we do not do viewings on Sunday but one of our staff lives local and he is also doing another viewing. The time would be 11.30. Good news as it takes me a hour to get to the property. Had a call on Saturday 7th by the man who I was going to meet. He said he does not have a car and can we do next Sunday.?? I told him Someone else could view during the week and make a offer? I said I have made arrangements at my end as to get there as arranged. I did offer to collect him as he did not live far from the property. He said he would phone back. He did st 16.45. I missed the call and called back at 16.48 No answer, phoned again at 16.52 went through to main office switchboard. They emailed the branch to call me and said they don't shut till 5.30. I phoned again at 17.02 and 17.10 no answers and no calls back. So do I travel for an hour to get there at 11.30 Sunday 8th or do I not go as there will be no one to meet me. Absolutely very poor customer service. Good excuse for the guy who was meant to me as he phoned but no answer. So why did he not try again. If anyone is reading this don't try to sell your house with Beresford Hornchurch Branch they don't careComing back from your reply I did have my phone with me. There was No Call Sunday morning and with my partner I still attended at the original agreed time. And I did speak to a neighbour of the flat for sale talking about maintenance charge etc. Also today 9th Jan still have not had a call from the branch

Following a detailed appraisal of your file and subsequent conversations with the local office and the individual concerned, I can confirm we did in fact attend the appointment yesterday as arranged.My colleague in the local office initially advised he would show you around yesterday, Sunday 8th. However, his situation changed hence his call to you on Saturday 7th to see if he could reschedule for the following Sunday. It is unfortunate you were not available to answer his return call later in the afternoon, as this was made just prior to our closing at 5pm. I am sorry you were advised incorrectly that we closed at 5:30pm on Saturday.Our consultant rang you again on Sunday morning, prior to the appointment, but again failed to reach you. He then went to the property and waited ten minutes for you to attend, again trying to reach you by phone.We will always do our best to accommodate any viewing request, however there may be times when this is out of our control, depending upon the circumstances. Please note we do not work on Sundays so therefore our consultant was giving up his own time to accommodate you. Please do not hesitate to call the office if you would like us to rearrange the appointment.
