I have been landlord for 10 years, and previously used two different letting agents in Manchester. Paul Birtles have looked after my properties for me since 2018, after a bad experience with one of the letting agent. Paul Birtles now manage all my five properties. I cannot thank the team enough! Living in London and being carer to my elderly mother I am not able to travel to Manchester. I chose the full management service. I have been able to trust them completely, they have taken the stress out so it is great to know that my properties are in safe, capable hands. They have always found me very good tenants in a short time but not anyone that isn’t suitable! always acting in my best interests whilst being very fair and building up an excellent relationships with my tenants so much so that my tenants do not want to leave and are now long term. They use high quality maintenance personnel, best prices sought & repairs are checked, changing legislation is monitored & certification is always in place. I have found Paul Birtles to be excellent and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to appoint a letting agent, they always respond quickly to anything I ask them to deal with. It’s the personal attention that makes the difference. This is very difficult to find, in my experience.

Our experience of using Paul Birtles to sell our parents house has been excellent !! They communicated frequently to let us know what was happening at all times. Whenever I phoned, I was nearly always able to speak to Dan who was able to explain what they required of us or was expected of us by the solicitor. And if I did speak to someone else they were always very helpful. We had a delay on our probate application; beyond our control, and Birtles showed great patience and understanding despite the inconvenience to everyone. The last couple of weeks before the sale became quite frantic with emails and phone-calls flying back and forth and Dan’s cooperation to do whatever was necessary to complete without further delays was greatly appreciated. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone in the local area.

I'm very grateful for how Paul Birtles Estate Agents handled the sale of my flat recently (particularly Paul and Dan, as well as the other staff). I had initially chosen to go with a well known online company for the sale but they turned out to be terrible and could barely get me a viewing let alone a sale in the 5 weeks that I had used them. Within 3 days of putting my advert up on Rightmove - PB had got me an acceptable offer, and I would highly recommend them over an online agent and also over others I have had experience of in the Trafford area too. They have been professional and respectful throughout and my experience with them was excellent.

Used Birtles to market my late parents house in Flixton. Always a worry that it wouldnt sell. Bit of a slow start. Plenty of interest but no takers. Slight adjustment to the marketing brought them in thick & fast. The agents (Shirley & Dan) kept me up to speed with regular updates & hey completed on 11th October. I went with Paul Birtles for a number of reasons...primarily reputation ! & having used them in 2002 (with again great service) it was a no brainer this time round. Market price suggested was 'bang on' & not over/ under like the comparibles were suggesting!. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone in & around the Urmston area. This us an agents that not only knows his market but knows how to project his properties to prospective buyers. Yes there are other agents locally but I know what I know & Birtles gets my vote hands down. Well done Paul, Shirley & Dan. Job well done...my parents would have been proud. 👍

Why pick Birtles Estate Agent to sell your property? I go by gut feeling of knowing this is the right step to take, and it certainly didn’t let my wife and I down. I guess many of us sell our ‘home’, a place we have cared about, it holds memories, it’s been part of your life, so picking people who also care, show these sentiments is important. Birtles started the process of putting our home on the market very quickly. A photographer and representative of Birtles promptly arrived to take all necessary details, they really knew historically local areas especially relating to the market situation, values in price differences, tips on presentation. These details were soon available for potential buyers, arrangements were quickly made for an ‘open’ day. Birtles kept us updated at every step, they were always at hand to answer any queries we had, professional at every point. Whenever we communicated with a member of the staff their sincerity and helpfulness created a relaxed relationship during what is considered a very stressful part of one’s life. Our property sale had a different completion scenario, being out of the UK for part of the process. On this I would highly recommend Birtles. Communication by email was prompt, a few hiccups that arose were dealt with very efficiently by them, enabling us to have full confidence everything would be under control, limiting extra strain while abroad. We could not recommend Birtles highly enough. Top marks for professional dedication in ensuring the service they provide is of exceptional standard.
