Alex went above and beyond to help us move our elderly grandmother. He showed great professionalism but nothing was too much trouble for him when guiding us and particularly her every step of the way. He arranged meetings to chat to her in a relaxed way about each stage of the process. We had plenty of viewings from the start and lots of feed back on each viewing. One day he even picked up her medication from the pharmacy for us and dropped it off to her as she had run out of tablets!!! We thank you Romans and particularly Alex for your understanding and patience for older people that do not find it an easy process to move house. Thank you for all your hard work. A 5 ⭐️ experience!

So..... I rarely do this (write a review) but I felt I had to. About a month ago I found the perfect place in the perfect area (Calcot). I couldn't view it but my fiance was the one that needed to love it. She wasn't sure on moving to a new area but LOVED the house and said we have to have it. Me forever being the Salesman thought I know lets put in an 'Offer'. Turns out the other couple got the house because of me and the other half was not pleased. We were gutted and I felt horrendous, however Steve contacted me quickly helped me. He had a pretty spectacular house up his sleeve to show me that wasn't on the market because of a water leak. Levi was the perfect person to show me around he wasn't the slightest bit pushy, he didn't say anything that made me feel like he was trying to sell AT ALL. There were some issues with the finer details like moving date but this was sorted by the team. I couldn't be happier and the particulars were all sorted by Alistair. Coming from a similar background I was extremely impressed and I couldn't recommend these guys anymore. Plus Calcot is amazing!!! Love all the parks and rivers etc.

Staff have been so helpful throughout the whole process of finding and securing a fantastic property to rent. Always there to answer any questions and advise through the process, Levi Matthews was especially helpful and professional and made the whole experience hassle-free. A fantastic team at the Tilehurst branch who keep you updated at every point and very deserving of five stars. Fees charged are one of the highest in the area and this would be the only thing Romans could improve on in order to make them the best agency for renters. It would be especially good to see them lead the way in reducing up front fees for tenants and show the other letting agencies in the area how it’s done!

ROMANS Tilehurst provided a first valuation on my property earlier this year which was ok but not workable for me to progress a move. However a second valuation was provided by Josh Bebb which was nearly £40k more than the previous one. My property was placed on the market and after only 3 viewings an offer was received for £5k less than the asking price. It made a big difference in assisting me with the relocation plan that I had in moving nearer to the South West coast of England. Whilst it is early days I have been able to start executing my move plans. Josh has been very professional and friendly throughout the marketing phase and I am sure there will be consistency through to completion. Thanks very much so far Josh.

We used Romans in Tilehurst to sell our house, they were good at getting the house on the market and selling it but then seem to disappear. We had the odd email but had more information from Roots in Thatcham. They also recommended to our buyers to use PCS legal as their conveyancer and they were awful. They managed to delay the completion by mislaying the mortgage money.

Ben @ Romans - Turning Negatives to Positives (no innuendo intended). After a pretty bad experience with a previous agent (which resulted in entirely dropping out of a house purchase) I was left with a negative assumption on other Sales Negotiators assuming they are all pushy sales men/women with too much to say and a stinky attitude... All until Ben waltzed up the drive of my (almost) new house! Ben from the very beginning delivered an exceptionally professional service, communication = 10/10, and I most appreciate his patience with myself and my grandmothers (a lady hard to impress yet somehow he ultimately charmed the socks off her) many requests. He really ensured this process from beginning to (near) completion has been at ease and as stress free possible. New nickname suggestion - smooth operator? It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with Romans so thank you to all who were involved but an extra big & well deserved shout out to Ben. Thanks a bunch 'Lid'!
