Me and my partner were looking for our first flat together and we were put in contact with an estate agent in the name of Levi. We cant thank him enough for all of the hard work and meticulous detail and time he put into helping us find our perfect first property. He was very patient and understanding with us being new to the rental market which was very encouraging and gave us a sense of how invested he was with us. 10/10 would recommend to anyone regardless of first time buying/renting a property or if your experienced in the market, Levi was full of knowledge and insite and always extremely professional a standout face of the business that shouldnt go unrecognised.

Romans were fantastic in helping us find our property, Levi kept in contact with us to inform us of any new properties that may have been of interest to us even throughout the lock-down! We have rented our property out through Romans for years with no problems so when it came to selling it they were the natural choice of estate agents to market it through. Professional and attentive, Romans have worked hard throughout the selling process to keep us abreast of the changing situation and even when the chain was broken they were quick to get our buyers house sold again to get our sale back on track. Big thank you to the amazing team, and especially Levi and Alistair from the Tilehurst Branch. It was the first time that me and my partner were moving out together and I could not have asked for a better service. We were completely new to everything regarding moving out when we started looking initially. The gentlemen have been so informative, helpful and very hard working. From when we viewed a property we absolutely fell in love with, for 3 weeks, every day we were able to make progress with our application, and they were there for us every step of the way. The process matched the pace we were doing everything at, which was pretty notorious, but we all worked hard to finalise the let as soon a possible and it was a great success! Prior to booking in any viewings, we received mixed reviews about Romans, but having now experienced their service first hand I could not be more please to have gone with them. Aside from Alistair and Levi being outstanding, I can say the other measures that Romans put in place, for example reference check company ect. have also been really great and contributed to the 10/10 overall experience. It just feels so reassuring to have such reliable people working to make something really important to you work out. We knew that every time we were unsure about something, or wanted to track any parts of the application progress, the team was there. The communication could not have been any better. Me and my partner will recommend Romans to absolutely anyone looking to move out, and if other branches provide a service anywhere as good as the Tilehurst one, there is many more happy customers to come. The team has been open, honest and transparent with us the entire way, which helped us make really good decisions. I wish the team best of luck in the future, and hand on heart me and my partner do not have a single bad thing to say about the process! It was unbelievable!

I contacted Romans to help me find a property for myself and my partner. We'd had been living with parents for a while, and needed the help of a trusted estate agency for our first move together. I found a property through Romans, I was super impressed that I was contacted within 24 hours by Levi. Levi was superb from the initial call, to arranging viewings and thinking of our requirements when it came to viewing properties. Levi was a pleasure to work with, he was honest and worked with integrity. The first flat we viewed was not for us, however Levi had an alternative in mind already! Levi was so quick in arranging a viewing for us for the second property, and again was honest and took in our needs when it came to showing us the property. I can definitely say, this service was outstanding!! My first experience working with an estate agency was as exceptional as it could get. Romans have been absolutely fantastic! - We moved abroad and chose to go with the fully managed property option with Romans as we didn't want the hassle of having to deal with any issues whilst being so far away. It wasn't an easy decision as we didn't know what to expect and whether a fully managed property option would be worth the money in all honesty. However I can honestly and safely say that I am delighted we went with Romans as they have been absolutely brilliant! Every step of the way they have kept me in the loop of any issues that have arose and dealt with it straight away when I have asked them to. A+ service as far as i`m concerned. A very positive experience from certain staff. We achieved more than the asking price and I can't speak too highly of Sarah Thomas in the Tilehurst branch. She went over and beyond, often chasing individuals after the branch had officially closed for the day. One negative was the portal It wasn't updated regularly and up until completion, it was showing "awaiting draft contract".

I have been looking for a flat in the reading area and have to say that staff there and namely Charlotte Scott was exceptional, I have had many dealings with estate agents and charlotte was first class with her customer skills, keeping to what she says she will do and general approach, it felt like she really went the extra mile. Unfortunately I did not take a flat let Romans in Tilehurst but felt compelled to write a review based on my experience with the office there. Based on Charlottes expertise I would highly recommend this branch for the service that they provide.

Having dealt with Jacob as both a potential buyer and seller he has been absolutely fantastic. Unlike the many other agents that were trying to get our business he was never overly pushy, spent time to get to know myself and my family and it often felt like a friend popping over or emailing rather than an estate agent. I found a property to rent through rightmove and called Romans in Tilehurst. They were very friendly and got me into see the property the next day. From the moment I put in my application to rent Alistair has been fabulous. The customer service I have received has been second to none. Alistair was attentive and made sure that my requirements were met. The admin was dealt with by Katie who was very responsive. I then visited the office to complete my right to rent checks and was greeted by Steve. Steve was also friendly and welcoming. All of the staff were friendly and extremely helpful at the Tilehurst office, especially Levi and Alistair. We had to wait longer than expected to move, which was very stressful, however this was no fault of the agency. Everyone was understanding and sympathetic whilst I inundated the office with calls. Once our take over day was confirmed everything was handled very efficiently. We are now happy in our new home and can't thank the team at Tilehurst enough for their professional but personal service.
