GoogleROMANS Tilehurst provided a first valuation on my property earlier this year which was ok but not workable for me to progress a move. However a second valuation was provided by Josh Bebb which was nearly £40k more than the previous one. My property was placed on the market and after only 3 viewings an offer was received for £5k less than the asking price. It made a big difference in assisting me with the relocation plan that I had in moving nearer to the South West coast of England. Whilst it is early days I have been able to start executing my move plans. Josh has been very professional and friendly throughout the marketing phase and I am sure there will be consistency through to completion. Thanks very much so far Josh.

GoogleI must agree with some of the more negative reviews here. They oversell their services, promising more than they know they can deliver and then when they can't deliver, they blame the customer. They overvalued our house to get the contract (and read the small print, it's the longest tie-in date I've seen and was so rushed to sign the contract I didn't notice it) and then blamed us for following their advice on the price. We listed it below the top price they recommended as even we thought that was too optimistic and we were keen on a quick sale. The reality is they couldn't get any serious buyers though the door. Over 50% of the booked viewings were no shows which was disappointing. As for viewings, I hope they didn't view our property in the same way we were taken by them to view others. On the viewing we took the salesman stood by the front door and let you look through the house yourself. Good job when we had viewings on our property, we had good mind to hide away valuables from prying eyes. There's lots of 5 stars on here, I guess properties now sell themselves and when there's no issues they get 5 stars, when it's not this straightforward it all seems to fall apart. Communication was also poor. Do your homework before selecting an agent, compare at least 3 and read ALL the small print.

GoogleI recently popped into the Tilehurst branch, regarding my property search. The manager Jason was incredibly helpful, giving me a wealth of information on the current available properties. Although I didn't purchase through them, I couldn't fault my experience and would recommend them highly.

GoogleA good customer experience throughout. Dan Hind patiently answered my long list of questions of renting out my property, I was provided with a good startup pack, checklist and guidance. I was guided all the way with the necessary repairs; the process of trades men sourcing, property marketing and viewing arrangements down to selecting tenants was done in utmost professionalism and efficiency. The whole experience with the lettings team gave me a peace of mind which money sometimes cannot buy. This is not only down to a clear and hassle-free organisation process but also down to the experienced and competent team in Romans that are lovely to work with. Highly recommended.

GoogleUnfortunately haven’t had the best experience with this estate agent. Was led on a wild goose chase to go view a property which was advertised less that 2 weeks ago and still being advertised as available. However after turning up at the address I could already see it wasn’t the right property. So found the actual property advertised only to be told it’s been let already but it’s still advertised as available. Estate agents them selves I found unresponsive and very hard to get in contact with. Really gutted and disappointed this has happened. I appreciate mistakes happen and people are busy but hey ho I’m sure it’s probably a waste of time even leaving this reviewNegativeResponsiveness, Professionalism
