Viewed the property with my husband, daughter & baby granddaughter. Kenya arranged viewing at a time to suit us, was punctual meeting us at the property & able to answer our questions. She drew out our thoughts about the property without ‘pushing’ us for a decision, & gave us plenty of time to explore & revisit areas, without feeling rushed.

Worst agency ever avoid it ,everything was amazing till agency fees was paid and the nightmare has started. New contact had to be renewed 2 month early(4 month on currently adress)with 14 days only notice and a big surprise increase rent 35£ and they negotiate the price without asking(20£). By the new low all agency from 1st jun 19 should keep 5 weeks deposit only and the rest refunded,all good till we renew contract and paid 95£ renewal fees(we should not) and received email saying deduction of deposit will pe made when new contract start and before signing told as 2 weeks!! I have a new born inside the house otherwise i should be out from this house before November,so lucky having still here. This agency is all about money and till there after is nothing,maintenance inside the house takes ages,weeks for example day one we moved we had no hot water and took them 2 weeks to fix the issue and i was pregnant,we had to bring and pay own plumber fixing toilet tank from day one was leaking and water bill cost 32£ for 3 days losing water,was a surprise om day one to find toilet tunk water switch off knowing there is a problem.. and issues can continue. I would never ever recommend Gatekeeper to anyone,they are above lows and all excuses bad communication including Alex. Never ever We had incase rent in the uk after 6 month renewal of contract!! Please avoid !

From a Landlord's perspective this company is shockingly bad. I got presented with them as a fait accompli when my previous agent ceased trading and passed their business on to Gatekeeper. Failed to follow my instructions regarding contractors not to be used. Poor communication with e-mail responses being incomplete and some content even being ignored - and this from a director. Their services were dispensed with at the end of the tenancy agreement they took over.

I moved into a dirty flat, I bought new carpets but when I was leaving they charged me £200 for what they said was for cleaning the flat. So my brand new carpet was now dirtier than their filthy carpet which they had refused to change. I would have put minus zero star if I could. Pathetic customer service too.
