GoogleWe have been dealing with Norbert Baricz for the last couple months as we are looking to purchase a property. He has been wonderful. Reliable, flexible and has really listened to our needs and delivered some great properties. We are just waiting for our property to sell and then we will be tasking Norbert to proceed full steam. We have been very impressed with his approach and commitment to assisting us in our search and would certainly recommend him.

GoogleSucked all the excitement out of buying our first house. Having met the asking price and agreed to a four month delay in completion from our offer, we were forced into paying five weeks worth of rent and mortgage simultaneously by incessant, bullying phone calls from the unscrupulous agent, who knew full well that we had already substantially invested into the property and continuously threatened to pull the plug on our purchase. Our completion deal was so bad that we seriously struggled to find buildings insurance - putting our deposit at risk. We may have been naive but there was never any hint of a compromise. No sign of decency or trustworthiness. They may well slap their backs and congratulate themselves on a 'job' well done but it seems incredibly short-sighted as we will never deal with them again. Neither will our friends. And neither, we hope for your own sakes, will you. An utterly joyless experience devoid of any humanity.

I don’t even know which branch I’m with but they’ve charged me £50 for the privilege of changing the date I pay my rent as there has been a company take over at work and will now receive my pay on a different date!

Extremely unprofessional estate agency - south west London area. I literally felt harassed on the telephone to provide my email and phone number when I was only enquiring about a property, not even trying to view it. It was a man on the other end and he made me feel very uneasy. I will not be looking at properties with them ever since they would have my home address too. It's an appalling industry.

GoogleWe had very good service from Gascoigne Pees Basingstoke, they sold our home and secured another home for us. We were very interested in one of their properties that back onto one of the primary schools in Popley. I called Gascoigne Pees in Basingstoke one Friday morning in November and explained to Jamie that I am starting a new job on Monday and could he fit me in that day. Jamie and Latoya fitted me in that same day for a viewing and let me come in for an appointment to get us qualified, thank you. From there we spoke with the whole team at Basingstoke some of them are Barry, Ged, Martina, Latoya, Jamie, Nic and Andrew. The whole team moved swiftly to get our home sold so we could purchase another. We received very good service from the team and the communication was excellent. We were kept up to date with our sale and purchase. The way the team handled all involved (us, our buyers our sellers, lawyers) was fantastic. The team also secured the home we were buying for us which we were very grateful for. Thank you Gascoigne Pees Basingstoke, it was a pleasure dealing with all of you.

Trustpilotappalling and disgusting treatment for our property
We have a listing with this company who has been professional and friendly up to the point of customer visits to our property.We have a carpeted flat and both the agent and the customer did not remove their shoes when showing the flat. What makes me furious was that on the day of the visit it was raining and muddy and yet there was NO consideration shown in removing shoes to access the property.We complained to the branch manager Michael White who apologised and I've just had a 2nd visit from another customer and again NO SHOES removed on access and guess what's going on outside right now.Storm Ciaran.So if my property was going to receive 20 visits, what condition are my carpets going to be in after?Absolutely disgusting and appalling service, it is common courtesy to be considerate of another family's home and yet none was shown and not only that, after having already complained once already you neglect to follow up on it.Undecided yet what to do as I was unable to reach the branch manager.

TrustpilotWarning - avoid this company at all costs
Warning! Fraud! Avoid buying uniforms from this company - at all costs. The company would not refund me - for a product that they never confirmed was ordered, but for which I was charged (I tried to check out, and apparently it worked, although no confirmation was issued). I had to follow up three times asking for a refund, as they did not send the items. Only after I threatened to file a complaint did they take action.The customer service agent, Sarah, made up many stories - about the order being confirmed, about refunding me in 7-10 days, etc. She never apologized. Instead, she responded with excuse after excuse. I'm confident they will make up some stories in response to my complaint. ;) Can't wait to see what she says next! Another excuse!

Disappointing. Tried contacting the agents a number of times (on different days) about viewing a particular property, as a keen buyer. No call back or reply to emails. Very poor service and a waste of time for people that genuinely just want to find somewhere to live.

GoogleDaniela gets the gold star for trying. G.P. Lettings are great at getting you to sign up but once you decide to leave there is no help, no explanation or clarification on cancellation fees. I had to go to stage 2 on their complaints procedure before I got satisfaction. Please be aware, ask questions before signing their Terms of Business

This letting agent is shocking. Signed a 12 month contract but had to leave early. Our cars were targeted and my boyfriends had to be written off. Had issues with the flat, which were never sorted, despite me chasing numerous times. Now landlord is trying to charge me £975 for leaving early, when we almost had no choice but to leave. My car was being targeted very frequently. Spoke to a Lady on the phone from G and P and she was so rude. Made me feel like I was the problem.

Experience as a landlord. Not sure what has happened over the years at the Basingstoke office, it used to be okay. I used to let 4 properties with them, but have withdrawn all properties from last month as the service is awful. The staff seem to have a degree in extremely poor customer service, with the lack of communication being their speciality. Taking the one review here that relates to GP property sales aside, every review here is 1 star. Why does this not ring alarm bells with senior management? To top it all, I now have a tenant having trouble getting their deposit back (from 3rd party company appointed by GP), and GP are being less than helpful getting it returned.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
