TrustpilotWorst property managers EVER
25th August, 2021: Apart from not providing necessary maintenance in a timely fashion to the property due to a leaking roof, which led to a much more expensive fix for the property owner, when my son moved out they made no attempt to pay him back his deposit or the overpaid advanced rent. Repeated attempts to obtain the money were met with stories and blaming everyone and everything other than returning the funds with promises to fix it, escalate it etc. After 5 months of giving us the runaround we ended up having to go through the Property Ombudsman to get it resolved. Update 16th September 2021: As of today, Gascoigne Pees are offering to short pay the advanced rent and have told the Ombudsman that the deposit has been returned, which it hasn't. This company employs liars, cheats and the morally & ethically bankrupt. Don't use them either as property managers or as landlords. Update, 12th October 2021, Gascoigne Pees have still not returned the deposit and short paid (less than 50%) the advanced rent with no explanation. They have lied to the Ombudsman and are still ignoring their legal responsibilities. There is currently no resolution in site…Update: January 2nd 2022 - The Property Ombudsman is about to decide on the arbitration, but Gascoigne Pees still owe over £1,000 and don't even seem to recognize that they owe anything. Unbelievable - we'll see how this ends up now that GP has provided TPO with their "Final Position" statement, which admits failures in dealing with the situation, but still doesn't account for the missing funds.

GoogleI had a great experience selling my property through Gascoigne-Pees. Alex, took care of me from start to finish and had two offers at asking price on the table after the first two viewings! He kept me updated all the way through and was super professional the whole way through. We had a couple of hairy moments and Alex worked so hard ensuring the sale completed in super efficient timing. He was honest and approachable and clearly cared. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again and can’t recommend them enough!

TrustpilotDisappointing Unacceptable Service
I cannot recommend Gascoigne-Pees, Leatherhead branch, after six months I am convinced that they were the wrong choice to sell my property. I definitely did not feel valued. When I decided to end the Agency Agreement, on 28/11/2024, I was completely ignored. After two visits to the branch I managed to get an acknowledgement. However, on the second visit (19/12/2024), the Assistant Branch Manager, was completely unapologetic. In my opinion his manner was offensive, rude and unprofessional. I left the office feeling very upset and physically shaken.

I find it almost laughable how this letting agency behaves. When you’re signing a contract, they bend over backwards to act friendly and helpful, but the second you’re moving out, the entire façade collapses. Their true colors show, and suddenly you’re dealing with rudeness, attitude, and a complete lack of basic professionalism.

GoogleNot happy with them at all. I was basically asked 3 times if they’ll give me a better mortgage deal will I take it or not, when I have told them I have already a deal that I am happy with. In addition, when viewing the house for sale the person did not even try to advertise the house or speak about it at all.

This company in Farnham has let our property for many years. Unfortunately now they seem to be complacent and we have to chase them for property checks to be carried out as per our contact. Once they finally did the check we are still waiting 3 weeks later for their findings. Also we have rung them throughout the day and left messages in their phone but they never bother to ring us back. They seem to have lost interest and we are rapidly losing patience.We would not recommend this branch of the company.

Have just purchased a flat through Gascoigne Pees Redhill branch and can not fault at all Daniel Beckson, he went way and beyond with this sale and I can highly recommend him. A great asset to Gascoigne Pees. Also Janene Haynes was very helpful too.
