GoogleUnfortunately really disappointed with my recent experience with GoodLife. Viewed a property and it was perfect so applied within the hour, was told they would review all applications by Tuesday (5 days later), Tuesday came and I hadn't heard anything so rang for an update. Was told the applications were being reviewed at that time, okay fair enough I thought. Thursday and I hadn't heard so called again, "the landlord is looking at them overnight, we'll be in touch tomorrow". Great I thought, we'll know tomorrow. Of course I still didn't hear by almost the end of the day, so I called again, I was told someone would call me back, and they didn't. I then checked the website and it's Let Agreed. How much effort would it have taken to just tell me I'd been unsuccessful rather than just avoid speaking to me? So unprofessional, which is a shame as the reason I've picked 2 stars instead of 1 was because everyone I spoke to was polite and cheerful. A 2 minute phone call or a quick email could have made this 5 stars for good service.

GoogleGoodlife have been great helping me sell a deceased family members home. From the initial valuation up until the sale was complete they have assisted me throughout. I have never had to sell a house before and they, as an entire company, have been nothing but helpful, polite and approachable at every encounter. The initial valuation was a breeze with Dean, he was professional, empathetic and understanding. He took his time to chat to me and really made me feel at ease sharing his past and personal experiences. He wasn't in a hurry and gave me great advice about how to manage the sale of the property. In comparison to another popular estate agents his service was outstanding. The house was then quickly and efficiently photographed and put on the market. Dean collected the keys and took the photos without me being there making it easier for me. Goodlife then did all the viewings for us for an extra fee. I was so pleased they took care of this. It didnt cause me any added stress at all. The house was sold really quickly. Gina managed this and then the actual sale itself. She give me guidance regarding sellers and offers. Gina's advice and help was invaluable. She was always so lovely and guided me on numerous occasions and made the whole thing run as smoothly as possible. Thankyou to the whole team for all of the help, guidance and support. I am so pleased I used Goodlife and definitely recommend the service. I plan on using them again soon to sell our own property and have no anxieties around this knowing how much of a great job they did last time. Thankyou.

GoogleWe can not recommend Good life home sales and lettings enough, from our first and so informal meeting with Dean ( I presume the boss and the owner) who put us all at ease about the process of advertising and then selling the property. He showed so much passion about the business in hand and was so understanding due to our circumstances we found ourselves in, then on to the office staff👍all so polite and professional every time we had any phone calls/ emails from them.....all under the watchful eye of a great staff manager Gena, who was the utmost professional with lot's of other advice and help with the process of selling the property, all whilst dealing with the added problems of probate. GoogleAbsolutely poor service ! The estate agent not proactive at all Did a viewing on Beechwood Street, Thornhill, Sunderland After 24 hours exactly wanted to give an offer on the asking price. The agent told me 3 times the vendor has agreed a price I wanted to offer over asking price and she is saying that she doesn’t want to call the vendor and make him some more money and herself a better commission. I asked to communicate with the agent who did the actual viewing and she said is impossible because she works from home ! (She does have a phone obviously) I’m an estate agent myself and I always inform my vendors when there is higher offers Very disappointed !! If I could put 0 stars I would How can you be so lazy to give a call to the vendor in the first 24 hours of the viewings As estate agents we need to give vendors feedback for all the viewings and she didn’t even mention that I want to offer over asking price Training should be evaluated Horrible estate agents

GoogleThe team and in particular the senior manager handled our sale with professionalism and sensitivity from the outset to completion. We were selling due to difficult circumstances but always felt well supported by the team. A minor issue relating to consistency of feeding back on viewings was taken on board. Indeed, of course, no estate agent can prevent viewings by the purely inquisitive who have neither the means nor intention to proceed, as opposed to genuine potential buyers!
