GoogleTayna/Director from Carter Jonas Oxford lied to me prior to starting a AST. I have this in an email. The house historically had issues with cluster fly's when I asked about the dead zombie fly's after seeing about 100 dead fly's in the house pre signing an AST for 12 x months. She said: "the windows have just been closed in the house".& the house house been empty for months. I believed her. I have had maggots/hatching in my sons bed after, rats in the lounge coming up from gaps in the floor, bats, mice, no heat for 10 days. 1 x hob on to cook on. Cloth moths eating my clothes. The director Tayna and the property manager are now trying to get me to pay for the landlords yearly property maintenance jobs. The house has woodchip wallpaper form the 1970's peeling off the walls, tas that wont turn off because the threads have worn. I reported this and now they are trying to charge me for repairs, the walls are so damp in the bedrooms the curtains rails fell off the wall. Years of filler dodgy maintenance done, they are trying to charge me to get a DIY person in the put them up again! They are now trying to take my deposit off me for things I have not done. DO NOT SIGN THE INVENTORY if you move in, until you have to do your own inventory/against there's, they will only try to do the same to you. Photograph everything, test/turn on full power everything before you sign it. Cooking facilities, shower, taps, heating. Inside every cupboard, leave no stone unturned.Cleaning standard windows, curtains rails are secure. Just photograph everything put it in a PDF file, even the external garden areas. The are trying to charge me for leaves that have fallen on the ground to be cleared! After my AST ended.

GoogleAll the staff at Carter Jonas are friendly and extremely professional. Kate dealt with our sale from start to finish and was exceptional. She was quick to reply to all emails and telephone messages which made the whole experience of selling our house easier. GoogleIn Dec 2018 whilst visiting family in Wales, my wife and I decided we needed to rethink life and relocate from Oxford to Wales. In January we invited Julia Wilson from Carter Jonas to view the house, we then invited other estate agents. We decided to work with Julia at Carter Jonas, as she was totally engaged with us and our lovely home and could see the real worth and potential. Julia was not at all pushy as we found with other estate agents, but exuded professionalism and warmth. Julia gave us great advice. We were not hassled at all and our house sold on second viewing. We are now living a new life in Wales and we cannot thank Julia at Carter Jonas enough for helping us follow our dreams. We were so pleased to have Julia as part of our journey.

Tanya is super efficient and helpful and she went above and beyond to help me secure me the property. GoogleCarter Jonas Oxford was acting landlord when we were tenants for 3.5 years. They were very responsive to all issues and dealt quickly and professionally with all manner of needs. We then bought the property through Carter Jonas and again found the Oxford team professional and transparent throughout. Since then, we have used them to help find tenants for us which they did within a week. So all in all, we have had a pretty thorough experience working across both sales and lettings. We would definitely ask Carter Jonas to act on our behalf should we ever consider selling.
