I would definitely recommend Clan Gordon to anyone looking to rent in Edinburgh. It’s all been very smooth sailing from the moment our application was accepted by the landlord - very prompt and friendly responses from the lettings administrator (Carrie Morrison). Our property manager (Lauren Hunter) has also been a pleasure to communicate with. Lauren also went out of her way to accommodate for our last minute change in schedule on the move in day, which was very much appreciated! Thank you !!

We are relatively new tenants with Clan Gordon (3 months in) and have been impressed with their service. They stood out during our flat hunting phase as really professional, relaxed and friendly. Since renting from them we have found their response to any support we need to be fantastic and really prompt. The online tenant dashboard works really well. Kristina (showed us the apartment when checking in, helped us via emails), Mike (came to do our flat inspection and emphasised how important the inspection is for the tenants needs as well as the landlord/letting agents) and Euan (handled our flat viewing and was really relaxed and approachable, totally set the right tone). Clan Gordon were very helpful. Hannah in particular managed my queries/ initial account set up and was very friendly and professional. In the end I didn't need their services as I had found tenants and all I required of them was the initial tenant set up/ organisation of a few tests/ checks on the flat. As a result their let only service was not really suitable from a costs/ admin perspective (which they were happy to admit). Overall really good customer service and I would be happy to recommend and will use them if the need arises.

From a tenants perspective, Clan Gordon are absolutely brilliant. I've been a tenant in a number of places over the years and never felt a particular affiliation to a letting agent until now. TENNANTS BEWARE! Unless you leave your accommodation PRISTINE you will not get your full deposit back!!! Having been involved in our family letting business for around 40 years (I notice you Clan Gordon have only been in business for a mere 8 years!!), we have NEVER expected the outgoing tenants to pay for a changeover clean! We, as the landlords have always been invoiced for that! Nor have we expected tenants to weed and maintain communal gravel parking areas and remove cuttings from overhanging trees. Ongoing maintenance and 'wear and tear' is the responsibility of the landlord. Absolutely shocked and appalled....BE WARNED!

I highly recommend this agency and will definitely use again. I used Clan Gordon for a tenant finding/let only service and cannot fault them. Communication was easy, they were highly responsive, and made the whole process straightforward, explaining everything along the way. I particularly liked their professional but friendly approach: they are very well organised, but not overly corporate. I liked that.
