Clan Gordon has been an amazing agency to rent from. We rented with them for over 7 years!! And any issues we had were acknowledged quickly and resolved just as fast, which made the whole experience really smooth and stress-free. Honestly, they’re the best agency I’ve rented from in Edinburgh. George was our property manager and he was great, super responsive and always made sure everything was sorted promptly (though there really weren’t many issues at all!). I can’t recommend them enough.

We recently let our property for the first time through Clan Gordon. With their help, what felt like an overwhelming process for first time landlords has been made straightforward and worry-free. The whole Landlord Support team have been very friendly and reactive to our queries. Carrie was great at taking us through every step of the marketing process, from preparing the flat for tenants to advertising the property and securing tenants. She has provided practical and thoughtful advice throughout. Juanita and Talia have also been particularly helpful and responsive when arranging for any maintenance issues to be resolved. The client portal also makes managing maintenance issues and accessing documents simple.

We have been renting with Clan Gordon for almost five years and they have been fantastic from start to finish. The whole team have always been so supportive and communicative and nothing was ever too much trouble. Whenever we needed anything they were quick to respond and always really helpful and understanding. Repairs and queries were dealt with promptly and clearly which made everything so much easier for us as tenants. The final checkout was also handled in a really smooth and transparent way which took away a lot of the stress that usually comes with moving. A really good experience dealing with Clan Gordon to arrange renting our new flat. They were quick to respond and informative each time we needed them and even went above and beyond on key pick up as we arrived into Edinburgh past their office hours but they were flexible enough that we could meet them in Edinburgh to pick up the keys later in the evening. They made the renting process very easy, especially for my wife who had just moved to the UK from the US and they were understanding of her situation. Also the viewing agent was really helpful and knowledgeable. Would use again if needed! Krisztina, Malin, Euan and Mike were our contacts who all did great jobs!

Lovely move-in experience as tenant. My friends in Edinburgh and I are well-used to collecting keys from the lettings agencies on the move-in day and then figuring our way around the flat and its appliances. This time, however, Anna from Clan Gordon took the time to show me around the place. It was a proper one-hour "tour" - she even taught me how to read water pressure and adjust the valves if necessary, and quizzed me on what to do in different situations. Soon after, she followed up with detailed e-mail guidance and ways to contact them if anything goes wrong. While I was quite surprised, according to Anna, this is the standard practice at Clan Gordon. Anna clearly takes good care of the property, too - not only representing the landlord but also the tenants. Her welcome, as well as the personal and warm emails from her other colleagues, really eases the move-out move-in stress. As a single tenant, I feel that I am accompanied by the lettings agency and the landlord in taking good care of the place. They make me feel that I am not alone in loving this property as my new home. I have never written a google review before, even upon request, and move-in is a very busy time, but I would really like to take the time to share this experience, as Anna and her colleagues have taken time for me. Edits: on the move-in day, we discovered a big stain on the old mattress. Before I got the time to post my review, I received a notice saying the landlord approved a request from Anna for a new mattress, to be delivered before I complete my move. This again shows me that without fishing for compliments, they deserve my good words, and kindness in return.

Having rented in Edinburgh for the last 7 years from several letting agents I feel a review for Clan Gordon and their top tier service and professionalism is justified. I feel their letting agents (particularly Anna who we have dealt with) have a genuine care and compassion for their landlords and the up keep of their property's. We have been subject to several inspections in our short space of renting with them and Anna has pointed out cares to be wary of and guidance to pre empt any potential work that may need done to the property. I have rented off previous agents who I feel abused the landlords trust by getting multiple evaluations on work subsequently done by cowboy tradesman. We were welcomed to this property with a tenants pack on upkeep of all appliances and have experienced nothing but a positive response to any small works that needed done. Clan Gordon have a fantastic team and a responsive system to ensure both up keep of their property's and tenant and landlord satisfaction. I don't usually write reviews but I feel this is warranted due to their professionalism . If I was to let a property I would trust Clan Gordon.

Just finalized multi year tenancy with Clan Gordon. I'm fully satisfied and can recommend the agency. They deal with all the maintenance issues and requests quickly. You report problems using a dedicated website, which makes everything clear and transparent, by keeping all parties accountable. When I had other types of questions, I sent them by email. They always addressed it professionally and within reasonable timeframe. Contract finalization and deposit return went without an issue. There were small deductions to the deposit, but I consider them understandable. I think Clan Gordon is a good example of how agencies should operate.
