Mather Marshall are an independent estate agency with four offices in Hertfordshire and have selling and letting homes since 1990. The Stevenage Office is situated at the top of The Old Town High Street and is often the first agent buyers come to when walking into The Old Town from the station. We have an experienced team with a wealth of knowledge of Stevenage and the surrounding areas. We are able to offer free advice on marketing of properties for sale or rent. We also deal with land and new homes and can also recommend conveyancing and mortgage solutions. So please feel free to come in and see us.

GoogleI have found MM effective at all stages of the process. Initial valuation was realistic. Fees competitive. Communication effective and frequent at all times, and especially good as I have been at the other end of the country and never been in the office - or even met the team face to face! GoogleReally pleased with the whole serviced provided by the team through the sale of the house, they was on the ball with updates through out, always willing to dk what they could plus more for their customers and even a courtesy check in after sale, which i thought showed they are customer care focused. GoogleHad a viewing of a house with them, they turned up on time and agent was lovely and friendly and professional. Decided to rent the property and everything went through quickly and easily. There was a small confusion over the normal deposit and NIL deposit contract but was resolved extremely quickly and easily by the lovely agent Amy in charge of me. Lovely professional people and would recommend to anyone.

GoogleMather Marshall did a good job of selling our house. They set an appropriate sale price and then worked hard to achieve it - they set it at over 25K more than another agent and delivered. They worked hard to get viewers through the door and make sure they were qualified. After the sale was agreed Linda worked hard to make sure it progressed and made sure we were well informed and helped to resolve blockers. If selling another house in Hertfordshire I would absolutely use them again.

They kept things moving and updated me when necessary, it was the perfect service, I had a good feeling from the outset and they did everything they said they would. GoogleThis company are not able to accept responsibility for any mistakes caused on their end. We were not prepared for the landlords requirements. Any questions we asked during the viewing we were told “I don’t know sorry” which is forgivable as the individual only worked on weekends, however even the full time employees couldn’t provide us with any useful information to actually save us our time besides using pressure tactics to fill out the form. I made it clear that it would be my girlfriend, my elder brother and I renting the property and the manager STILL sent the form across, and now we are being blamed? Nobody deserves such a terrible service.as soon as a bad review is written it is instantly our fault? Nobody deserves such terrible service.
Sorry you feel the need to duplicate your girlfriend's complaint that we have already replied to. As you work for a Letting Agent yourself we would expect you to understand that it is our Landlords decision not to accept three young shares to rent his property. We have completed viewings promptly, sent paperwork and replied to your enquiries. However whilst we understand you are disappointed at not being able to rent the property but we would rather inform you of the Landlords wishes at this stage when you have made no financial outlay towards renting the property.
