Google10/10 Renting Service. From first viewing the property that my partner and I have now moved into, every process has been easy and straightforward thanks to the Mather marshal team.
The main person I have dealt with is “Hayley”, and she is brilliant at her job, made the pre tenancy process so straight forward, would update us via email and phone along the way.
They use property file which is a handy place to raise maintenance issues and where all documents are kept.
All other staff such as emilee and daisy have been amazing too. I’m sure everything will be fine during the tenancy as well :)

You were due to visit our offices but you did not attend the arranged meeting you requested. Unfortunately your post here on Google does not relate to the issue in question so i am slightly confused by your comments.
With regards to the tenants vacating please find below the response from our solicitors explaining the situation that was sent to you on the 2nd November 2023
Dear Mr Jones,
Attached is the section 21 notice served to the tenants on your behalf. It states that they must vacate by 31st March 2023. As the notice was served on them rather than the other way around, they are free to leave anytime up to and including 31st March. The tenants were not in a fixed term contract so owed no further rent or council tax. Once the tenant leaves, legally they negate further responsibility and cost associated with the property. From the moment that the tenants left, you became responsible for payment of the council tax.
I trust this clears up the position.

Unfortunately the law tends to favour the needs of the tenants rather than those of a landlord and cannot understand your comments above as at no time did we state you cannot regain possession of a vacant property ?

We note that you have posted a negative review about Mather Marshall. However, your interaction with Mather Marshall does not concern a service provided but relates to a complaint about a tenant that recently occupied a flat close to where you reside.
We have looked into your complaint; however, we cannot discuss information about clients with third parties as detailed. To our knowledge, the residence has not infringed their tenancy agreement or the Housing Act 2004. As such, Mather Marshall would not have any legal reason to act regarding your complaint.
If you still wish to make a complaint i would ask you follow the procedure detailed by the property ombudsman and which is detailed on our website and this complaint will be reviewed formally.

When our first tenant decided to leave after 2 years with short notice, we had some issues, but MM were on the ball. All their sound professional advice given two years prior kicked in. They are very fair, good negotiators and with you every step of the way to advise and support.
The management reports are very informative and clear, with pictures and a traffic light system to help with landlord and tenant priorities.
Credit where credit is due, we want to say a BIG thank you to Janine and her team, we really couldn't have done it as well without you all!

Yes it took time and several factors involved that caused delays with the high number of those involved within the chain.
Irrespective of what occurred the service was second to none.
We have come to terms that these things happen beyond our control when buying a house but cannot thank Mather Marshall enough for their assistance through what has been a long journey for the family but finally and eventually the move happened for my parents.
The area is nice and it lead me and my partner to buy on the same road next to family (well almost) few doors down just a shame it wasn't with Mather Marshall never the less my parents are happy with the transaction.

GoogleHad such a hard time with a previous landlord and the property and the whole team really helped us out emotionally and physically to find somewhere new. Danielle was amazing (not just because we share a name haha) so knowledgeable where othrr estate agents couldnt provide answers to basic questions - there was nothing Danielle didnt know. You can tell she is passionate about her work and cares about clients, honest estate agents (which is really hard to find nowadays). Iys the first time ive had a pleasant experience with one... Plus everytime we have to pop in, i LOVE looking at a book they have there which is all about pictures of awful estate agent property photos (i must find out the name and buy myself a copy lol)
