Excellent service from Intercounty…

Excellent service from Intercounty (Dunmow), selling our house. We certainly made the right choice.I know some folk are tempted to use an online agent, but probably not realising what a good estate agent actually does. It's one thing to publish a few pictures and description on Rightmove, but it's thereon in - once a buyer is found - things need to be closely managed, with constant liaison and chasing between all parties (especially where there is a chain involved - which thankfully there wasn't with ours). A good agent will be experienced in all the pitfalls, potential issues, and help to keep things moving along. The house we are relocating to (which we bought a few months prior to selling this one) was via one such online agent (the most well known one actually) - we were close to pulling out due to incompetence and lack of commitment on their part along with the similarly poor online conveyancers.....There's an old saying - "Pay up and look big"! Sometimes, you really do only get what you pay for. IMO, false economy!Intercounty (we dealt with Andrew, Liz, and Jenny - with Jenny our main contact and driver in our process) were very competent, helpful, and efficient throughout the process, achieving a swift sale and contract process through to exchange.Very happy to recommend, with no qualms at all!

Quick sale and a personal service

It felt like the whole team knew me and any time I called I was always given an excellent personal service. Everyone I spoke to was always happy to help and as always communication is key and most important. This is where the team excelled.Our property was sold within 2 hours of going on the market and we achieved a very satisfactory selling price. Thanks to Jason and the whole team at Intercounty Harlow, for achieving such a quick sale. It’s clearly a team effort and nice to see in this day and age.

Jayme Walker Bishop Stortford office

This is a review of the estate management team at the bishops stortford office.More importantly of Jayme Walker.Me and my wife have had an awful experience with our landlord, several problems at our rented property, some minor some much more serious. Which our landlord has been impossible to deal with to resolve these issuses, regrettably in the end this lead to us ending our tenancy. Jayme has been there to help us out so much in the last several months. He has been completley understanding of our problems and feelings towards the situation we were having to deal with. His honest and personal approach to us and how he has dealt with the situation has made it much easier.Jayme went above and beyond to try to make it as pain free for us as humanly possible. It has felt like instead of talking to someone who works for an estate agent i have been talking to a mate. Brandon has made what could have been a really stressful experience go as well and as smoothly as he could. I found Intercounty excellent in the way they sold a property that I own. From start to finish they were very professional which was especially pleasing as the property was previously on with another local agent who were completely useless. Marvellous at managing and selling.

I have used Intercounty for renting out my property for a number of years now. The Management staff have, on the whole, been very good. Professional, helpful and courteous, particularly Dimple Johal, whom I could not fault and has gone above and beyond her job description. On selling my property the whole team were very professional and Doug Whybrow was fantastic helping move things along and assuring me daily in a professional but friendly manner. He nagged when I asked him to. He chased when I asked him to and even let me rant and moan proving to be a sympathetic ear. I hope he is appreciated and is given a pay rise in due course! Excellent experience from start to finish

We really had a good experience of Intercounty from start to finish . The photos of the house and description were well- presented. The team took control of viewings with good attention to small details which helped to sell the property. Particularly impressive was the service after offer was accepted , coordinating with the buyers to smooth over the transition to exchanging contracts which could have resulted in a lost sale if it was not for the tenacity of the agent- and especially Jenny who acted as an intermediary at this time.

Absolutely terrible rental experience. Zero awareness of basic tenancy law and their tenants’ wellbeing. Really wouldn’t recommend either letting Intercountry manage your property or renting a property managed by Intercounty. My sister has had fault after fault with ridiculous lead times waiting on the landlord to approve costs. No pressure from Intercounty to move the process along. No hot water, and some repairs taking over two months to address.
