If there was an option for giving no stars at all, I would do so. I would not recommend this property agency. I was a tenant renting through them and when we left the property in better cleanliness and overall condition then when we had moved in, they took £150.00 off our deposit for a couple of lightbulbs being wasted and a couple of other completely insignificant and minor things such as a curtain rail that had come loose and a hinge on a kitchen cupboard door that just needed adjusting. It was completely disproportionate to take off 150.00 for 3 very minor things. They refused to answer my emails and phonecalls and I couldn't escalate it with the manager because they kept saying the manager was unavailable. We left the property immaculate and looked after it carefully as if it was our own. We were very disappointed and unimpressed with this agency and I would not recommend anyone to use them.

I used Oyster to manage a property as I didn't live nearby and needed someone to help get it ready for sale. They were amazing and went above and beyond. Nothing was too difficult 5 star service Once the house was ready for sale I also instructed Oyster for the sale of my house and that was handled brilliantly. They used a street app which was amazing as you knew exactly how many viewings you had each day, who was viewing and their position (ie if they had a mortgage in place, or had a property to sell before they could proceed). Within 2 weeks we had several offers and sale was agreed a week later. They were attentive and responsive. Highly recommend

Really nice experience so far, which is rare for agencies. I started my tenancy on the 04jul23 and the communication with the agent (Gemma)/agency has been very good. Based on my previous experiences with other agencies, Oyster has shown transparency and care for the tenants - they are very prompt in responding queries and sending info. I’ll update if I have any issues later on, but the property I moved into was pretty well taken care off, so I believe everything will go smoothly. I’ve logged 1 issue through the property management system and the response was pretty quick. Update: It’s been a year and the agency is still very good in my opinion. They follow up with the tenants concerns. The renewal process was smooth and they took care of everything. Communication was good.

Hi guys, I’m requesting everyone not to rent property from this agency because after all they are after your money, when you’re about to rent property from them they will say they gonna fix all the maintenance issues, so you trust them and you rent property, after they don’t care about what maintenance needs to be done until your contract is expires, once it’s about to expire they will start to blame you that you didn’t maintain the property. But the fact is their property are already worse before you move in they just pretend they will do something about maintenance but in real they don’t do anything and when your contract is finished they will blame for even small things And after they won’t return your deposit amount. So if you really want to get a property for rent, get it from somewhere else but not from oyster property.

These guys are awful

These guys are awful. They are not helpful, they do not help fix issues. I have been a tenant with this agency for 2 years, any problems they request to log in the portal, and then they just close the ticket withouit notice. Anytime I ring up for answers it is always a rude person who doesn't want to hear the issue or help. Consistently not providing the service to tenants as they are required to do. I do not have good experience dealing with this agency.

I just wanted to say a massive thank you to Irina and Niraj from Oyster property for selling our home which we lived in for 16years in Stanmore. From the very moment, they were professional and will always accommodate your wishes. I basically wanted to buy a bigger place and they communicated this with my buyer who held on for the best part of 8months whilst we found our new home. This was down to oyster managing my buyer and keeping him abreast of where we were in the chain. During the conveyancing process our buyer unfortunately had a difficult solicitor who was unresponsive. Irina and Niraj again stepped up and guided us through the process to get it over the line. I have to say at this point that your conveyancer is as good as what you pay and Irina highlighted this straight away to us. They recommended a great firm, a real person you can get hold of. Yes it is a bit more £ but I was talking to a real person rather than a bot or a different person everyday. Note to anyone buying check reviews of your conveyancer before appointing them! I would highly recommend and use Oyster for any property dealings as you get a personable service from them. Thank you again to the Oyster Properties team, keep up the good work. I had the rented a flat in Harrow through the Oyster Properties office in Stanmore. It was my first rental in the UK having recently moved to the country and so was a bit nervous. But they made it very easy for me. My entire experience from viewing to leasing to vacating the flat and eventually release of the deposit was absolutely seamless. I don't recall even a single opportunity to complain. Most of my interactions were with Gemma Groogan and Hemangi Deru, who I found to be extremely professional, courteous, responsive and understanding. Even during the pandemic when I had few queries/ maintenance requests, all were addressed promptly and as best as possible. Gemma was helpful, knowledgeable and professional in all her dealings with me. She was also extremely patient, especially since I had a barrage of questions for her to answer! She took time to answer my questions (I am a layman when it comes to many of the ins and outs of all of this) so was extremely grateful to have someone who could explain it to me, and who did so promptly too!
