We have just sold our house and purchased our new home, both, with the support from Seymours, Staines. This is a case of 'third time lucky', having placed our house for sale previously via two other agents. This leads me to the finer detail of how Seymours came to market our property and successfully sell our home. We had not been able to find a house that we loved more than our own home, having looked as far as Solihull for affordability and a sense of a leafy town. We did not want to move unless the lifestyle changes and opportunities seemed worthwhile. We love our house, after 18 years, we just needed a change. It was Gary from Seymours that reached out to us with an opportunity to purchase a beautiful flat more locally. We had never considered purchasing a flat and certainly not a new build. From the moment we viewed the flat, our options opened up. As Seymours were selling the flat it seemed sensible on a communications basis to sell through them too. We feel that this could have been complicated because they would need to balance working for both us the sellers of our home and of course, balancing the needs of the developer selling the property to us. We fortunately are blessed to have a brilliant man who is the developer so he helped manage the process. Mark, Seymours was great upon our first meeting, pleasant to speak with and wasn't pushy. He was realistic and managed our expectations well around where to place ourselves on the marketplace with the knowledge of how house sales were going. We have found the whole team at Seymours to be professional. Gary has been super patient and kept us updated well. We found Gary to be a professional, positive and reliable person with a gentle manner. He has guided us through a very difficult process and never lost patience along the way. Thank you Gary for reaching out with the curveball of considering a flat, your wild card might just be a very happy home for us. Thank you Mark, Gary, Alan and Billy!

My family and I have recently rented and moved into a property through Seymours Staines - I just wanted to take a moment to comment on the absolutely flawless service we have received throughout the entire renting process. Having rented in the past, I can say without any doubt that Helen and the team are by far the most experienced and client-orientated agents I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. From start to finish, team correspondence and communication when trying to find a home was impeccable! I am honestly not surprised that we found our dream home with the team at Seymours Staines. Not only did we find our dream home, but we also found it on our first viewing! - which I am sure most would agree is an absolute testament to the services the agency provide. References were simple, communications from the landlord were made clear, and the move-in procedures were easy to follow, professional and exceedingly informative. I could write all day long about the astounding service myself and my family have received! So I would love to thank Seymours Staines and Helen in particular for finding us our dream home! Seymours has played a major role in helping us to achieve a successful house sale following our dreadful experience with another local agency which was very rude and lacking professionalism. We were extremely disappointed with this first agent who wasted 2 precious months during the summer time where the house market price was at its best to sell our property. This left us sceptic as to being able to trust another agent again. That was until we contacted Mark (Seymours) who managed to convince us to give it a try again with his agency appreciating that he and his team had also managed to sell successfully another house in our same street with a neighbour we knew quite well. He has a really good understanding of the local market especially when considering valuations. We started our property search back in March this year. The long stressful process of buying a house was made that bit less stressful by the amazing staff at Seymour’s in Staines. We have just sold our house with the Staines branch of Seymours. They are an efficient, friendly, proactive team of professionals who are always available. Mark has very good local knowledge and is very understanding of a clients' request and understands the market well. Mark made the choice easy on what Estate Agents to choose. He is down to earth, highly knowledgeable in the local market and area. He made no unrealistic promises (unlike other Agents). Only a promise that he and his team would work hard to sell our property....Mark kept to his word. We accepted an offer within a week after numerous viewings. I was kept up to date with all processes. Everything was running smoothly until the buyers pulled out at point of exchange The same week the housing market took a dive! The team got straight back on the task finding appropriate potential buyers and we soon accepted an offer. This process was quite long and and not as straight forward as the first (no fault of Seymours.) But again we were kept up to date, Alan and Billy kept on top of actions. Scam Letters

Keep getting fake letters through my door for the past 3 years saying Mr & Mrs M are looking to buy a house in the area with their 2 kids and are currently living with friends, the same letter for 3 years. They even sent the letter to us about 4 days after the house had finished being built and it continues all these years later. I called for the 4th time today and the Blackwater branch manager had the nerve to ask me why its an issue, he said that he gets pizza leaflets through the door so why should I care? Horrendous, scammers just desperate for business

I wanted to express my disappointment following a recent experience with your firm. I called to view a property with a view to purchasing, given our tight time constraints. A lady took my details and said someone would get back to me. I ended up following up two days later, only to be told there were access issues and that I'd be kept updated. Today, I see the property has been sold. This has left me with the impression that either your agency is entirely reactive, failing to utilise your buyer database, or that, for some reason, I was never seriously considered as a buyer. I'm struggling to understand how someone actively looking, with clear intent and ability to proceed, can be completely overlooked. This is a people business, and today was a reminder of how important trust and communication are. Unfortunately, this experience has significantly changed my view of your agency, which I previously held in high regard.
