GoogleHi, we had a very bad experience renting a property with leaders, at first everything was okay, But after when needed them we felt so deasapointed as they never look after us as tenant, The property we rented was dirty and old and our fault we did not take photos of the flat when moved into it. and after two years we just move out of the flat and the landlords won't give our deposit back as he is claiming the property wasnt cleaned properly and has been dammaged, honestly Thats so frusted. We have emailed leaders many many times regarding this metter but we havent got any answer back. also while we were in the flat we had so many proplems such as leakings, heating, stay more than 40 days without coocker as the landlord was avoiding us and etc... when we start looking for another property the landlord wont give us references and always has been so difficult when we needed anything from them. Really really desapointed with leaders and landlord.
I Do not recommend this state agency at all.

As a business we consistently strive for exceptional service so are disappointed to read that you do not feel you received this from us on this occasion. We’re sorry to read of the issues you have faced during your Tenancy in relation to maintenance and with your Landlord in regards to references as well as the deposit. I feel it important to highlight that Leaders were instructed by the Landlord on an ‘Introduction Only’ level of service meaning that our involvement ended when you moved into the property, any maintenance issues would have needed to be reported to and dealt with directly by the Landlord. As part of this process it was also the responsibility of Landlord to provide you with an outgoing tenant reference and to negotiate the deposit release with you, when taking this into account we cannot be held accountable for the issues you have faced with your Landlord. I can see that today on the 4th of December that Louise has written to your co-tenant in regards to queries around the deposit explaining that your Landlord registered the Tenancy deposit directly with My Deposits at the start of the Tenancy and so you would need to contact your Landlord or My Deposits in regards to the deposit return. Information surrounding the deposit release process with My Deposits can be found here: https://www.mydeposits.co.uk/tenants/get-your-deposit-back/ After taking into account my points above I do not believe we have acted incorrectly as we did not manage the property throughout the Tenancy however we would like to offer our sincere apologies that you felt the service you received fell below the high standards we expect of Leaders. We appreciate you taking the time to bring this matter to our attention, we have taken on board all of the comments you have made and can assure you that all feedback is taken most seriously.
