Would definitely recommend renting from Frosts estate agents. It's always challenging finding the right house and making sure it's in your budget. Rose made sure this was made very simple, quick and efficient. Rose contacted me all the time when I needed something or to give me updates. Rose was always quick to respond to emails and my questions. For once me and my partner had a very good experience with an estate agents and this was made even better with Rose. Thanks Rose.

Their tenancy agreement gets weaponised

Their tenancy agreement is a carefully crafted recipe to attempt to retain your deposit. Do not play their game, as the agreement violates your rights. I moved out in January, and they are still trying to claim all of my deposit in July. They have not made one concession, and so their intent is obvious. They want to pay for "professional" cleaning, redecoration and supposed damage with my deposit. The flat was left clean and with no new damage, just wear and tear. No offers were received to refresh decoration during my 7 year tenancy; this should be offered around the 5 year mark. They also left a major leak, with black mould, unrepaired for 2 years. One of the reasons I moved out. When I moved in, there were cockroaches, the fridge stank, and none of the windows would open due to a lack of maintenance. The windows were also covered in rotting draft excluder tape requiring specialist solvents to remove, and apparently, it was my responsibility. They obviously do not care about the tenant, only the landlord. Avoid this agency. If you are stuck with them, try claiming via the deposit protection scheme; you have 3 months, and then complain to the ombudsman.

Great experience purchasing through Frosts. James and Ben were super helpful, easy to get hold of and great at managing the first part of the process. Once offer was accepted, we were serviced by Rochelle the sales progresser, who was excellent - easy to get hold of, great communication and super knowledgeable about the area and any survey help etc. Would recommend viewing and buying properties through frosts :) I didn’t use the sales team, but I wouldn’t hesitate to contact them to sell a future property either.

Would definitely recommend renting from Frosts estate agents. In the last few months of flat searching we have spoken to several local estate agents and have found the service from Rose at Frosts by far the best and incredibly personal. Rose made sure to contact us about any property that came up that fit our needs and was really clear on our requirements. She is always easy to get ahold of by phone and quick to respond to emails & we are so happy with the flat we have agreed to let. Some estate agents treat the job like a salesman and are only really interested in the commission but Rose & her team were not like this at all and have been really committed to finding the right place for us. Also we have met various other team members at the viewing and they are so friendly and helpful for info on the area etc which is great.

I dealt with Oliver (Olly) Banks when looking for a rental property in St Albans and he was by far the best agent that I had the pleasure of dealing with. He was professional, courteous and helped me with my search. When I found a property that I liked and I made an offer, I felt that he was genuinely working hard for both myself as the proposed tenant, but also, for his clients, the landlords. Having owned and run agencies myself in the past, I would of had a far more successful agency if all of my team where like Olly. A real credit to Frost's Estate Agents in St Albans and they are lucky to have him as part of their already excellent team.

I write this review about the professional service I got from Frost team., They were transparent, shared feedback after viewing and they didn’t put me through feeding wars. From viewing till drawing of contract they were professional, transparent process , pleasant and good customer service. Rose was a gem. I was doubtful as I had bad experiences elsewhere but Rose was amazing, from the time I made the enquiry to end! She was always heads up, very supportive and kept me updated throughout the process. I have recently bought a property through Frosts and have had wonderful experience, especially thanks to Rochelle's support. We encountered challenges dealing with solicitors and Rochelle ensured I remained informed as a first time buyer. Mr Oliver Banks has changed my image on letting agents. He is such a friendly, helpful and welcoming gentleman, and always responded to our enquiries positively and patiently. His expertise and professional knowledge in the local property market are beyond question. Since the first meeting at his office, he has kept close contact with us. He showed his concern and support every time he talked with us. Since the local letting market is so competitive, I was, to a certain extent, exhausted and rather disappointed at the situations we faced after the many viewings and offers we forwarded. Thanks to Oliver’s encouragement and his golden saying “no worries”, we packed ourselves with viewings last weekend and finally our offer was accepted by the landlord. I would not recommend rentals through…

I would not recommend rentals through Frosts St Albans. Issues took time to sort during the rental but the worst was getting our deposit returned. They were fully on the landlords side, permitting charges being applied for ‘remedial works’ (a screw to hold wobbly furniture to the wall) outside of the check out report with quotes from a company that weren’t even registered on companies house and just typed up on word. We also caught them providing inaccurate information to the landlord which we called them out on and we had to go via the deposit dispute procedure which found partly in our favour. They only care about keeping the landlord happy, not being fair to tenants. Avoid.
