Marine Gate, SouthportHad 4 Appointments Cancelled by this Agent, because the Director said we had not Sold, we do not have to, we have got Proof of Funds to Purchase.Said we asked too many awkward Questions of her Negotiator, about Council Tax / Service Charge / Section 20 Levy / Ongoing Maintenance etc. which she could not give satisfactory answers to.When we asked about Viewing under Covid19 Rules, we were told that the Vendor would be in the Property and of course wearing a mask.Government Advice is "If people are being shown around your current home, you should open all internal doors and ensure surfaces, such as door handles, are cleaned after each viewing with standard household cleaning products.As most people choose to, we recommend that you vacate your property whilst viewings are taking place in order to minimise your contact with those not your household".Very arrogant and unprofessional Agents, whom we will not ever use, under any circumstances. I was given a property valuation for a building which was valued at 220k to 250k depending on the spec. I did the refurbishment on the property and I asked them to sell the property and they gave me a valuation of 190k despite me doing a lot more work then which was given on the builders quote. I asked them to clarify why there is such a difference in the quotes and they could not answer. It was Amy who gave the valuation so if she be very cautious if you decide to get a valuation thru her. It feels like it was a scam to get me to buy the property as I would not have bought the property without that valuation of 220k to 250k. So I’m looking into this to find out if there was any negligence and will be looking to claim compensation

The property and viewing though were a complete blag. It was listed as freehold with no mention of leasehold throughout, I was also booked for an evening slot, then called on short notice to change to a morning slot. I did this as I was keen and they seemed friendly, but I turned up to a viewing with another family which was awkward, and then told the property was a shortish lease in comparison to a freehold, had water damage throughout and no info of service charges, land rent or car parking information. I wouldn't waste your time if you're serious about buying and don't want messed around.
