Awful communication

Really unprofessional staff. Absolutely no communication, did not have the courtesy to let us know our offer had been rejected if they even passed it onto the seller at all. Staff have been rude and dismissive and we will be avoiding at all costs as we continue our property search. Awful customer service compared to every other estate agents we have used over the last few months of our journey.

My wife and I had our first experience this afternoon of Ian Trickett, branch manager of Woolston, while viewing a property we were very keen on in Waterlooville, Hampshire. We have been renting a long time and found Ian to be the best Estate Agent we have dealt with in a long while. Honest, Relatable to and straight talking in a non offensive manner. We were very impressed with him, told him so as well and would highly recommend him for your renting requirements within his catchment area.

Lacking integrity (Southampton Branch)

We were recently in a position where we a house that was being marketed by Morris Dibben; we were shown around by Lydia who was very friendly and helpful. It transpired that the owners of the house were interested in a house like ours and so the possibility of a 'house swap' was discussed. Our house was not on the market but we planned to let the owner look around to see if they liked it. It all happened quite quickly and we were unsure whether we needed an estate agent or whether we could show the house ourselves. Naturally we were keen to avoid additional fees but we needed to do some research first to see whether we would need an estate agent at all.

On the morning of August 31st, I saw an advertisement for a house for rent posted by Morris Dibben-Woolston and immediately went straight to their office. I was greeted kindly, Rose Cottrell listened to me, registered me and said that she would definitely call me for a viewing during the day. She called me less than half an hour after I left the office but told me that there was another house that matched my expectations and that she could get me booked in for a viewing within half an hour if I wanted to see it, which I agreed to do. After that, everything happened incredibly fast. I saw the house, expressed my interest and on the same day the reference check phase started. Roze certainly played a big part in making the process go so smoothly and quickly. She believed we were suitable tenants, she supported us and we trusted her. Laura Heath took over the reference check process until the day we received the keys. Laura, just like Roze, was with us throughout the process with all our questions. She built a bridge between us and the landlord and we received the keys on September 11th. It was also very kind of Roze, who returned from leave on the day we received the keys, to call us on the phone and congratulate us. The Morris Dibben Woolston team is absolutely dedicated. I had visited many estate agency offices before I walked into their office and I have never seen a lettings negiotiator or property manager approach a prospective tenant with such sincerity and care. This team is different. I highly recommend them to everyone.
