I would like to say how professional and outstanding Sam Pillinger as been since handing over my late mother’s house for Shipways to sell. He as kept me informed from the start and especially in the last few days when I’ve at to drop into the sales office. I’ve walked in and immediately he as acknowledged me and walked straight over to me. As I explained to him that I’m not to sure about these legal letters from the solicitors and quite worried about them. I contacted Shipways for a free valuation of my mother's home in August 2023. Amber came to look at the property, and when I explained that the future of the estate was uncertain as Mum was poorly in a care home she was extremely pleasant and helpful. She explained the alternative options for sale and showed professionalism and knowledge when she discussed the value. Since then she has been in touch for an update just 3 times, not applying any pressure. We did not need to sell the house on the open market but if we had I'd have been happy to continue the process with Amber's representation and support.

We recently purchased a property with Shipways and we can’t thank Sam enough. As first time buyers with limited experience with the whole process, it seemed daunting. We had been in search for our property for nearly 2 years and during this time we had distasteful experiences with other estate agents where we nearly give up and started renting. However, with Shipways our experience from the first viewing to getting our keys has been nothing but smooth sailing - thanks to Sam. He is very prompt with his responses and anything we were unsure of; Sam would always make sure to get an answer for us. He was also very good with chasing up the solicitors. I cannot fault our experience with Shipways & Sam, they did an amazing job and we couldn’t have asked anymore of them.

Sam and the team did an excellent job marketing the property and securing a large amount of viewings leading to agreed sale of the property in just over a week. The information pack we got clearly indicates costs upfront including solicitors fees and there is always someone available to take a call too, which is not always the case with others. I would use again in future and recommend to anyone looking to sell.
