As working professionals who can rarely get free time during the weekdays, it's extremely annoying to book days off to view properties to find they're by application, and we submitted our application the day we viewed, only to have the application be rejected because it wasn't processed in time before the landlord accepted an alternative application. Not worth the time.

GoogleDue to the home owners position, we had to expedite the purchasing process. From viewing the property to completion took just 5 working days. The team at DM & Co were instrumental in making this happen for both parties. The daily updates and ‘back office’ assistance made the experience enjoyable for what is normally a stressful experience. GoogleLettings Service - I've let 2 properties through the team. On both occasions the house was let very quickly after multiple candidates viewing. GoogleJust picked up our keys and we have had nothing but exceptional customer service, genuine care and support from these guys. After being rejected from multiple properties and letting agents outright refusing to consider us for properties due to one of us being self employed and the other having a poor credit file, the agents at DM&co, specifically Harvey and Kate, listened to what we needed and our situation in order to support us through the letting process. We picked up the keys to our new property today, a place we hope for a good few years to come. If you’re looking for an estate agent that care and have your best interests at heart, look no farther! Thank you DM&co for your time, dedication and positivity!

GoogleSuch a shady business, running us around for months and even after they had wrung us dry for money they lied about the time for the probate period. Stating 4-6 weeks and recently telling us 6-9 months. Our mortgage will run out and we will no longer be able to afford the house

I was buying a house through hunters, wasn’t the best experience in the world. When it came to getting the keys from the bishop Auckland office, I was told to wait outside in the cold for 15 minutes, then presented with 1 key by itself, there was no congrats on your first home or any welcome gifts or anything, just here’s your key, see you later 👍🏼😂 got into the house, it wasn’t clean, the kitchen had been flooded which warped all the kitchen floor which I then had to pay to get it sorted. They should have done a check once the owners were out the house in order to make sure it was in a fit state and as seen on the viewings. I’ve since rented out houses around that area and stayed well clear of hunters, I would never use them again after the experience I had with them.

Poor overall! The property we were interested in was over valued by more than 10% and yet they wanted offers in excess of ?! My communication with staff was defensive and not amiable not sure why! My advice check out your move to check the property is actually worth what they say it is? Before you buy 🤗

Just don't use this Estate Agent. And really don't use them to do an Inventory. They made so many errors we had to almost redo it ourselves. They missed the Fridge Freezer. Washing machine and Dishwasher in the Kitchen. They said there was a white wooden wardrobe in the bathroom, there isn't I could go on and on. I have asked for a refund but of course not heard anything!

I had a viewing arranged and nobody could give me a meeting point for a large apartment building with several entrances. Spent nearly 20 minutes at the location wondering around and trying to reach the person that was supposed to show me around, all calls declined. Office couldn’t get through to her either and when she finally calls me is to rudely tell me off for not showing up at a different entrance when she never told me where to go, speaking to me in an angry tone and then hanging up.

GoogleIve dealt with 4 different estate agents so far whilst renting and hands down DM & Co have been the best so far. The service and communication is always friendly and on hand for any questions you need We had help from Chiara Gemeli-Williams she was amazing and friendly and made the renting experience smooth Definitely would recommend DM and Co

Quite possibly "the worst" Agent I have ever come across (Leeds area) . My daughters 1st apartment, paying top dollar and she can see sky through the roof, water running (not leaking) out of badly corroded Radiators damp everywhere. We have asked repeatedly to have these issues fixed and nothing has been done, just emails from agent to landlord and that's where it ends. Today she has said it's to cold and draughts to stay there any longer and the reply is"you need to give 2 months notice"BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE

Totally disgusting practices. This company are selling a detached property next to my home. They say it’s impossible not to include a photograph of the full frontage of my house as well. I requested the photo be cropped or changed. For a few days I regained my privacy but again the original photo has returned and is all over the internet. They say they can’t show their clients garage without my house being in the picture. Absolute garbage as the garage is on the other side of the house being sold not next to my house!!! It’s obvious they are using my home to paint a picture of a nice residential road. It’s 100% possible to take a photo showing the house , driveway and garage of their clients property without including my home. Awful just awful.

GoogleI did research before choosing my estate agent. Personally I would recommend DM and Co. Chiara dealt with my property and she is a real asset to the company. Professional, efficient and reliable - exactly what you need when finding a suitable tenant. I was really impressed with the swift process and promptness to getting the right tenant (within 7 days from advertising to moving in!)

S. YORKS. If I could give a negative score, I would. What an absolute bunch of useless w-----s. As a tenant we, get 6 monthly inspections, not a problem at all. The problem is, they hardly ever do the work needed & when they do, they employ the most r------d & incompetent person possible & the quality of the work is ALWAYS s--t. When you complain, they do nothing about it. For people using them as an agent: they are letting your properties deteriorate while charging you the earth.

GoogleMoving house is super stressful, but it has been an absolute pleasure dealing with DM&Co throughout the process of purchasing my property. Everyone I've dealt with has been great, but Lynne in particular has been amazing. There have been a few hurdles along the way, but Lynne very calmly and reassuringly has sorted everything out and has been wonderful.
Thank you - and I could not agree more, super stressful is an understatement - it is how you overcome the hurdles that tends to be the measure of a good agent (or not!) - all the very best, Dominic and The Team @ DM & Co.

This estate agent gives all the sales patter and promise to do all sorts fail to ring you back lie about the situations going on I have a few properties to sell I've had rented for years but giving them up as retiring I will not be using this company after the last experience all I can say is avoid

This is one of the worst company ever. My deposit is stuck with them for more than 4 months now. mary.mcgarry is the worst representative to work with. they never respond. we have been following for 3 months over call and emails but they pick up call and then keep saying we will get back to you. Never wok with Hunter.

GoogleWe tendered a sensible offer on a property. They didn't even have the courtesy to call us back to say it had been rejected or giving us the opportunity to increase our offer. Very unprofessional in my opinion.
